Marijuana is a drug, and it's highly over-rated. It grows wild or easily indoors, and is cheap to produce. We legalized marijuana here and do you know what the net result is? Literally nothing. IN particular, tourism hasn't done a damned thing as expected. People who go on holidays to get high is really pathetic, sad. Nay, people who predict tourism will rebound because of remedies such as this is just as sad. If you must get wasted to travel, go to Peru and get wasted there. It's popular with .00001 percent of the population.

This disaster was the easiest prediction that I and just about every other person made.

Word around the campfire is many countries will be switching from pandemic to endemic this coming spring. As with all other pandemics of the past, this has morphed and is stable and should just stay right where it's at. There are very few variants now, and only one new that has no effect and isn't spreading. It's just a matter of time till this is all over. Vaccination rates will dictate how long till this ends in your current country. The vaccines are so incredibly effective against this virus. It's important to really consider how fortunate we are, and all the research that went into these corona viruses before this all happened.

Thai govt issues warning about fake Thailand Pass website

This is a good introduction to the several hundred (at best) people who are going to Thailand for the first time to have a vacation who don't know what to expect once they get here.- 29 replies

I hate to sound all optimistic here but there are reports coming out from the W.H.O. that the pandemic could be ending spring 2022. That's not to say that COVID won't still be around, it means that there is certainly light down there somewhere at the end of the tunnel. Apologies to all who expect nothing but doom and gloom from me. I know this is very unexpected...

IT's all quite simple, please relax and let me explain it. And A-O visa will be an A-O visa in a third country unless one can explicitly state that the A-O visa is a community state and in that case there is no need for insurance. Of course the quarantining may come into effect, but the A-O visa will care for that in that the O-A visa will supplement the A-O visa. But be sure that the O-A visa isn't assigned in Slovenic countries or the assignment will be the same. But if an O-A visa is issued from a branch of the Thai embassy then no insurance will be required unless you enter via the following airports, all in Thai, which I cannot translate. Hope this helps, have a great day. ???? (my post is satirical)

PM calls for country transformation after reopening
Blumpie replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
A tourist wants to get in, lay on a beach, see a wat, eat some street food, have nice dinners, care free, relax. They don't care about silly catch phrases, logos and the like. There is no care free vacation right now in Thailand. It's impossible. You are always worried getting ready, flying in, and jumping through the hoops. Be it Thailands fault, COVIDS fault, or whatever it doesn't matter - this isn't going to fly.- 109 replies

7,000 international arrivals due at Suvarnabhumi on Monday
Blumpie replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The Thai logic may be lost on some people. They may want to read your post again. I nearly spit my coffee out reading it. In any event, 110 international flights, do they know how full they are? It doesn't matter, to them they will be 100 percent full. I hope they are but truthfully, i am not so sure. Time will tell. ???? -
He hasn't aged well because he's probably drank more than enough to kill several wild elephants. You can see the look on people, and it's not becoming. He is an understated drunk, but don't we all have our demons? I remember when he came here to a local bar, he got drunk (of course) and got into a fist fight. It was really disgusting and the people here never forgot it.

What I learned from Russell Crowe is how atrocious his singing is. I mean not just atrocious, it's an abomination. The worst singer I have ever heard trying to go professional. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, I give him a .4. If you don't believe me, just youtube him. Those poor Australians who have to put up with his singing. I understand your pain.

Believe it nor not it's worse in India. Seeing this video brings back bad memories and makes me remember nothing but the bad things of Thailand.
