    No the purpose of all the tax threads it seems to me is for people to try and ram their opinions down other peoples throats.... People have already decided what they will or will not do ages ago.....And nothing under the sun will be changing their minds EVER.... But some here seem to have some strange motivation to try and round up the wayward sheep....To get them onboard with the tax plan...

    I will give you a very well argued and thought out opinion.. The lawyer in this article says expats will not have to pay jack...So guys no need to pay jack.... I doubt you have ever heard any thing more well thought out than this...

    The solution to a low birth rate is to teach LGBTQ in the schools....And welcome gay marriage.....Keep wages low and debts high.....A force everyone to buy expensive EVs... This should produce more babies.....Or maybe not...

    Only one thing to do now.....Ban all massages.....And put anyone who gets or gives a massage in jail.....Anyone who gives a massage should be charged with attempted murder.... Yes folks I can almost see the future headlines now....Even though 99.9999999999% of people dont die from massages......Ban them all......

    Well Pattaya beach only has a few drownings a year and some years I think there are zero drownings.....Now Phuket has loads of drownings, plenty of times 2-3 deaths a week from drowning...

    Its not easy to drown on Pattaya beach.....It has to be one of the most undrownable beaches anywhere..... No big waves, no current, no drop offs......

    9 grams of meth is a very small amount. And the weed is legal.....If he was not selling I would say 5 years is very harsh..... Guys get busted with kilos and mega kilos of meth all the time....And they sure are not doing 200-300 year sentences.. And yes Meth is a bad drug....

    Anyone that buys a EV is really in need of a brain transplant.....To help them see what a bad investment EVs are....In the long run they will cost more than ICE vehicles when insurance repairs and resale value is included...

    did thaksin pay his billions in evaded tax that got him self exiled ? From what I know Tony has not paid out a single baht in taxes..And it looks like he has no plans to ever pay his taxes on income...

    Exactly......Especially if they exempted basic necessities like cooking oil, rice, milk etc for people.....Like many countries do..... But the rich would be paying a good amount of VAT when they buy a new Mercedes....

    If they raised the VAT to 10 or especially 15....They would have more money rolling in than they know what to do with.... I think they are wising up to the fact that every single farang in Thailand will be doing every possible thing in their power to make sure they dont pay a single baht in taxes....EVER.... The VAT is the great equalizer.....Everybody pays that every day.....No exceptions.....

    Hey I will buy you a happy meal the day the very very well off Thais or the mega rich Thais start to pay any income taxes in Thailand....

    Very few Thai or farang pay any income taxes......But Every one pays VAT rich or poor......So a raise in the VAT will bring in a tsunami of new money....Thailand wont be missing the income taxes that almost nobody pays now...

    Sir your bedtime schedule is shameful.......A real tourist party animal goes to bed at 4-5 AM and wakes up at 2-3 in the afternoon....
