9 grams of meth is a very small amount. And the weed is legal.....If he was not selling I would say 5 years is very harsh..... Guys get busted with kilos and mega kilos of meth all the time....And they sure are not doing 200-300 year sentences.. And yes Meth is a bad drug.... -

Exactly......Especially if they exempted basic necessities like cooking oil, rice, milk etc for people.....Like many countries do..... But the rich would be paying a good amount of VAT when they buy a new Mercedes.... -

If they raised the VAT to 10 or especially 15....They would have more money rolling in than they know what to do with.... I think they are wising up to the fact that every single farang in Thailand will be doing every possible thing in their power to make sure they dont pay a single baht in taxes....EVER.... The VAT is the great equalizer.....Everybody pays that every day.....No exceptions..... -

Very few Thai or farang pay any income taxes......But Every one pays VAT rich or poor......So a raise in the VAT will bring in a tsunami of new money....Thailand wont be missing the income taxes that almost nobody pays now... -

Well K bank could have just said if you have already filled out this BS paperwork then this Email does not apply to you......And not missed a single person if it was sent to everyone.... But no K bank says.....Lets send these Emails out real half azz.....To a few people here and there.... K bank sure seems to be sheepishly sending out these emails.... -

Well if it was so important K bank would have sent a E-mail to EVERY customer......Not just a hodge podge sending of Emails to some people here and there.... And anyways Banks dont just close accounts easily......Ok they may suspend overdrawn accounts etc......But closing.......Nope Never.......Closing is the very last step after many long years of repeated legal warnings........ -

This is called fishing for a reaction......Thailand does this all the time....They haphazardly release a possible controversial new policy.....Just to see what the reaction is.....If the reaction is bad often times its followed up with, this was all a big misunderstanding.....And the new policy is never heard from again....
