Very good idea to give farangs money....... But 10,000 not going to cut it for expats......I think we need at least 100,000 baht each.....So we can really stimulate the economy in Nana plaza and Walking Street..

Hard Rock cafe is OK if it expensive......But at least the waitresses dont have that very annoying and very Fake friendliness like the Hooters girls do.....That was a very happy day when Hooters closed in Pattaya...

Well Taco bell may still be open in Pattaya but its not a popular restaurant...At least the times I have passed by...And its expensive for not so good food...

I thought Texas Chicken was pretty good.....The Texas Chicken across from Tuckom always seemed pretty busy....Better than KFC chicken any day.. Texas Chicken is shutting down all its outlets in Thailand after serving customers here for nine years. The fast food company announced on its Facebook page on Monday that it would close all outlets from the end of September. It gave no reason for its decision to exit Thailand.

This is all 100% correct... The most funny thing about their freaking stupid tax ideas is they will get virtually ZERO farangs to pay any tax .....Farangs will do any thing and every thing to avoid paying......Every last one of them.......Even the sad farang who will be putting a confused emoji face on this post will be looking to pay zero taxes....lol.......I guarantee it.......lol

What she means is she wants expats to pay zero taxes, and she wants expats to get 10,000 baht too....And she wants to do away with 90 day reporting and she wants expats to pay Thai prices every where in Thailand...And make citizenship fast and easy for farang... This is what she ment....

Ok lets take just one country the USA......Look how the number of tax laws a rules have exploded over the last 100 years.....Now take just about any country on Earth a expat might be from who lives in Thailand.....And I bet their countries tax laws have increased similar to this chart.... Now throw in 60 or so DTAs that are all different into the mix... Now throw in a bunch of Thai tax laws that are often vaguely written and open to various interpretations... Now throw in some vague threat of world wide taxation... Now throw in many Thai officials who speak any where from modest English to no English at all and very very very few would be able to speak or have a full understand of international Tax law......And for dozens and dozens of other languages forget it...... Now throw in a bureaucracy who cant even mange to get it together to tax their own people.... And what do you have after this mix.......One giant Swamp as far as the eyes can see....LOL

BTW, the government conspiracy thing is grossly exaggerated conjecture IMO. The subject way to long to go into here.....But many many inventors who have possibly come close to various forums of free energy have met with a amazing array of untimely deaths, went missing, were forced to sell out....bla bla bla its really quite a impressive list.......look it up...... Like the Elite had perfect timing for dramatically raising the price....But you got the old price if you renewed in the few months before the soon to be announced income tax plan.......lol............( they had the Elite visa renewal timed almost to the day of the income tax announcement) I am sure they already knew about the world wide income tax when they were punishing the LTR visa too.......Sooooooooooo scam or not?

Is it your job to try and get all the tax moaners and doubters on this forum to tighten up that stiff upper lip and get in the tax line? Unfortunately plenty of us can see the whole tax thing is rotten to the core and were not buying it....Especially when they cant even tax their own people and even more so the mega wealthy ones..

The funny thing about all this if the tax ever happens it will be a pitifully small amount of money they will take in.....There is not a single poster on this thread whos not planning to pay ZERO taxes or very close to it....One way or another....Legal or otherwise.... They will not be making Jack off this tax....

Well unfortunately not a shred of evidence the sea levels are rising....And even if the sea was rising unless the sea wall was water tight and covered the entire coast of Thailand it would be useless.... Just stick to building the useless land bridge which is also a dumb idea....But at least it should cost a lot less than the seawall...
