go live at turtle beach with Steve Rosse FYI: its very easy to live on phuket island with less than $1,000/month ( even for 2 of us) we eat well, dont drink or bar hop and mostly cook at home
  4. you can stay up to 14 days and travel up to 15 kms from town FYI: IF you have a visa you can fly further into Burma ( Like Yangon) Get multiple reentry permit for 3,800 baht Burmese side a crisp $10 bill seat on the boat are like 50-100 baht each way as to ur ban ( UK passport) wont know till u try 🙂 Food suck there

  6. lots of middle easterners and Chinese now Seems, (at least here in Kamala) we never had a normal low season.
  7. i have to ask WHY? it would be cheaper to fly if u were travelling alone Now if u were vacationing and stopping to see the sights it would make sense ( to me as i've done it form Phuket) but straight thru????
  8. 4th floor central phuket town 1st floor Robinsons in Thalang and most likely any bank anywhere
  9. if she had a visa or extension an did not get a re entry permit. The visa/extension is finished ... she can come in visa exempt for 30 days, pay for a 30 day extension if she wants have never heard of anyone getting a NON O off of a brother but if she did. good for her BUT she will need start all over
  10. 2022 was 16,000, than she raised it to 25,000 when i found someone for 22 Now i hear her prices have dropped very good service but 25 was way out of line
  11. wow, ur being ripped off royally friend of mine , had the 800,000 in the bank but had a bad experience with immigration in Phuket and has refused to ever go back there Paid an agent 10,000/year to do his yearly extension for him ( 90 day reports as well) ask around ur immigration
  12. Cina travel street 130 will get it to ya in 5 working days>
  13. immigration was far better BEFORE these volunteers were there

It's a private hospital that provides Social Insurance treatments from the Thai government. Mission hospital is a medical institution established in the 1940s by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. when i first went in 2 weeks ago, i was seeing a dr nurse in 2 minutes and a dr in 5 when i had my appt, waited 10 minutes but i was early> I have been using them for years, YES Bangkok -phuket and Siriroj are pushed for Farangs, but they cost more for the same care and service, Cost wise its alot less than the 2 international ones, BUT maybe 35% higher than the government ones ( Vachira , Patong, Thalang) but the quality is far better> waited an hour? sure it could happen if there has been a rush of people showing up to, but down a hospital cause 1 person had to wait....... I went in once about 8 years ago with a busted collarbone and had a shot of morphine within 5 minutes got insurance? of course go for the most expensive .

try mission, i find it excellent service and quality care Yesterday had a follow up on Pneumonia i caught which resulted in a 3 night stay there 12 days ago) Chest Xray, blood work , Meds ( 750) and Dr consultation ( 500) 2,490 baht
  16. get an android box, add kodi and a few addons, ( daddy live & the TV app for news/sports, Elementum & Scrubs 2 for all ur tv, movies) why pay for TV?
  17. take both passports< Since ur OLD passport is now cancelled , you will be stamped out on ur new one, they will make a note of it as well in the new one> come back with a 60 day visa exempt on new passport I'd avoid Poi Pet Go to Laos
  18. so? those are NOT evisas which are applied for online and cost a bit more where accepted: POI PET YES Koh Kong YES https://www.cambodiagovisas.com/border-crossing
  19. Laos and Cambodia offer evisas. NO FULL Page visa only a entry/exit stamp so ........
  20. How can u lie? its all in the computer, ur complete visa history new passport wont make a bit of dif ( regardless just got a new one last nov) good point about driving License, as to get the 5 year u need be on a non o/b
  21. one thing no one has brought up and one thing i am concerned with as this is very attractive How will immigration look at issuing this new 5 year visa and seeing the applicant has been on a yearly retirement ( or marriage) extension for 1, 2, 5 years?
  22. BUT you need tie up 800,000 baht/year VS 500,000 baht for one day 5% interest on 800.000 /year=40,-000 baht x 5 = 200,000 baht!!! NOW which is cheaper
  23. ONLY if u in Pattaya ( or willing to travel there) + 3800 for re entry Yea and tie up 800,000 for a year vs 500,000 for the day
  24. no mention and am curious if there an age limit why pay an agent 20.000+++ baht/year ( cause u dont want tie up 800,000 baht) to get an RE extension when you can put 500,000 in the bank of YOUR country ( and take it out the next day) and never have a problem for 5 years?
  25. visas are NOT always tied to passports I have had in the past, 10 year Indian visa and a 10 year China visa when passport expired i just carried both ( new and old) and the old visa is valid, till its not. a 5 year DTV visa will still be valid in an expired passport and u will ben stamped in on new passport
