If a For a genuine friend i would give them the cash. Between friends there a re many give and take situations. If i found myself in circumstances where i chose to "loan" 1500 baht to an acquaintance I would not chase repayment. If no money was forthcoming, id just move on. 1500 baht is in inexpensive lesson learned. Also, I would not penalize or vilify someone trying to pay me back because i lack a mechanism to receive that payment.
