  1. I dread to think of what his corpse looked like after seven days in the tropical heat climate of Udon Thani. R.I.P.
  2. He doesn't need a copy. He's perfectly capable of just making things up as he always does. He managed to tell over 30,000 verifiable lies during his four year administration. The man doesn't grasp the truth if it smacks him up along the side of his yellow head.
  3. The wife's brother was told along with his fellow soldiers they would be paid 1,000 Baht each for a vote for Prayut. The catch is that they'd be taken so a special voting location and vote in a block. This comes from the same military leadership that keeps whatever pay the soldier makes while on leave. Looks like a few policies could stand changing in the Thai military.
  4. There are a lot of members of this forum who are not US citizens who are nevertheless experts on all things USA including the embassy and legal system of the country. U.S. Embassy Bangkok USEmbassy.gov https://th.usembassy.gov The mission of the United States Embassy is to advance the interests of the United States, and to serve and protect U.S. citizens in Thailand.
  5. The mission of the embassy does NOT include repatriating a citizen if in fact that part of this story is true.
  6. If the Big D wants to argue the verdict out in court again Ms. Carroll may provide him with the opportunity to do so. It'd be the perfect outcome to Big D's lies and fabrications. This 3:58 clip may foretell Mr. D's unraveling as has no other event.
  7. And far too often it's the gift that keeps on giving...
  8. Well, that leaves out the self gain promoter known as Donald Dump.
  9. I guess the officials who approved this silly project never saw how other countries use steel cables pulled between poles and such. Easily installed and if necessary easily dismantled. But then again, why take a reasonable approach?
  10. He should proby start saving now for the 20,000 GBP it'll cost to get him there.
  11. An article earlier today on Asean Now claimed traffic congestion in Pattaya is being caused by an increase in tourist. I disagree. On Thepprasit Rd. I'd say the cause it is clearly the road work being done (and to a great extent not done quickly). Yesterday coming back from the Route 66 Restaurant the Missus decided to drive all the way down Thepprasit and it was a rough going. Unlike Singapore where traffic mitigation is down to a science, there was nothing at all done to improve conditions on the road. One of the serious causes of the congestion was the cadre of workers constructing a concrete median for the road. There would be no reason whatsoever why this work couldn't be done during off hours but I suppose no one thought about having the contract require that. Unless there's some miracle cure in the end, l think the contractor will have constructed one of the crappiest medians I've ever seen. It's so wavy, I nearly got sea sick driving alongside it. I dread finding out what the usage results of this median will be upon its completion.
  12. It's a mistake to believe everything "folks" keep telling you. Opening a bank account in Thailand is not difficult.
  13. Did you honestly not get that that was a joke?
  14. Instead of talking it to death why don't you just go ahead and give it a try?
  15. You've asked toooo many questions!!!!! You need to do a Google search.
  16. You could just change the name and print the same story over and over and over again.
  17. The only tip box I saw in Khon Kaen was at the photo section where they didn't put up a price for photos or copies but rather left it "up to you".
  18. This could be a sales pitch for using a visa agent who magically makes all the grief disappear. Long live visa agents...
  19. And still on a 24/7 beer schedule.
  20. What about security updates?
  21. . .Gone for ages. James R. , the local town drunk, drank up all the stock.
