  1. It's a good starting premise if you think that Trump is a liar, a cheat and responsible for a criminal attempt to overthrow the constitutional process - after all it happened, chants of "hang Mike Pence", looking for Nancy Pelosi, and so on.
  2. Unfortunately they are probably already in the death camps.
  3. Perhaps she was making the point that she was prepared to undergo a hostile interview - without demanding an on air apology for an imagined slight from 4 years ago. She wasn't particularly snarky, he asked some very barbed questions, making it absolutely clear in asking them the answer he expected, wished, to hear. It was rather than an interview a "switch and bait session". She answered them, in a measured style and was not prepared to let him bamboozle him into loosing her temper. Incidentally, I thought the remark " you are a serious journalist, you will have done your research" was very funny. Not quite up there with "Kamala Harris has a résumé, Donald Trump has a rap sheet" but still funny. Will it make a difference? Well it's Fox News, interviewer and audience share the same agenda, which was followed from the start, so it won't, never was, going to change that. But they can't claim that she isn't avoiding hostile interviews. Could have done with an "Ave Maria" or two and some Pavarotti - maybe she forgot to bring her IPod?
  4. Well I should imagine there is plenty of room, half of Albania appears to be on the streets of London ...
  5. Yes, a blizzard of law suits, followed by appeal after appeal. Their success is immaterial - the aim will be to push the electoral process past various deadlines, to demand that Congress and/or the Supreme Court appoint him.
  6. If that were to occur MSNBC will certainly be closed down, and it's presenters will be unemployable.
  7. I am not an American. I am an interested observer; I have several times explained in detail my interest, and why I see the events and outcomes of this current election as important, for the "democratic world". A very significant feature of the Trump/MAGA campaign has been association with less savoury elements of what may be described as the far right. Association, and implied endorsement by a variety of of organisations which exist to promote racial segregation and white supremacy, individuals with links to the Klu Klux Klan and NAZI inspired groups emerging into the sunlight and mixing with Trump and his team. Quite often his "slip shows" and we hear announcements and see images which are then explained away as "misunderstandings", fabrications or that ever present "fake news". Being aware of and mentioning these associations bring accusations of being a "Trump Hater", I don't hate him per se, I despise him, for his cynical deceits, lack of respect for the law, general misogeny and racial opinions. I dislike his character, amoral behaviour and his often gruesome taste. Now if he wins the Presidency, a possibility given his obvious intent and previous attempt, to bamboozle, bluster and threaten his way through and past the electoral process and bully either Congress or The Supreme Court to appoint him, then these characters and the interests they represent are going to expect to be rewarded for their support. They are inherently racial and non democratic by nature, and will expect their rewards to reflect that; enough hints have already been dropped, raw meat thrown, to certain sections of his base. That is what I dislike about Trump and MAGA, this is what I think would have grave consequences for democracy and the rule of law under Trump/MAGA. This is why I comment as I do. Comments which, interestingly are echoed, or perhaps more accurately echo, many significant and experienced people, with no particular political affiliation, within the American civil and military establishment.
  8. Probably you don't realise it but that's a deeply racist comment!
  9. You can post as many excuses, rebuttals or denials as you like, but an image, that image, will be what people remember. An image is more effective than thousands of words, and anyway, wasn't it the Orange Jesus himself who said that there *were many good people on both sides"?
  10. Quite possibly - therefore there is a significant risk that his views do not align with yours, and should he come into physical contact with your sacred soil his genes may pollute your population, damaging the pure white Aryan ideal of American Nationalism! Heaven forbid, he may be a foreigner, or even (awful to contemplate but it must be faced) he may be brown!
  11. Oh dear, does that mean that the Orange Jesus is still going to be campaigning in 18 years time!
  12. Turkmenistan eh? Really all we need to know about your world view isn't it!
  13. Off you go then, fill your boots!
  14. This from the poster who further up the page castigated @Cameroni for making irrelevant posts when he mentioned Melila & Cueta. Yet somehow Northern Ireland is relevant!
  15. Not doing a sense of humour this morning eh Chomper?
  16. This could be the mother of all conspiracy theories - it could run and run!
  17. I suspect option 3. Harris will win the electoral college by a slim margin, and the popular vote "bigly" as one might say. There will follow an absolute blizzard of litigation designed to push the electoral process beyond various deadlines, leading to a demands for a "contingent election" and if that doesn't work out for him an urgent appeal to the Supreme Court.
  18. Mind you, I think it is very much the case that Trump intends to litigate his way into the White House. The first stage of the plan is to run the electoral process "beyond it's deadlines", by a blizzard of litigation, clearing the way for another means of appointing the President; either a "contingent election and/or a ruling by the Supreme Court.
  19. Given what happened to the crack(?)legal team he assembled for the last attempt he will probably have to pay up front, cash on the table, this time. That may just be a problem!
  20. I was always slightly disturbed by all the elderly hippies who would gather around her at every opportunity a few years ago when she was a reasonably nubile blonde Scandinavian teenager! She obviously doesn't like the German Police. I, on the other hand
  21. That's enough to buy 91,000 bibles!
  22. Hezbollah is a "totally owned" proxy for Iran. They will not relinquish their hold on Lebanon, no matter how many Presidents are elected, and how many power sharing deals are negotiated between the Christians and various Muslim sects. They are the power, Lebanese government forces are inadequate and impotent, Iran says, Lebanon does. Anyone who thinks that Hezbollah's grip on Lebanon (or HAMAS's on Gaza for that matter) can be weakened by political or diplomatic means is living in a fools paradise! Hezbollah (which means Iran) will have to be driven out if anything is to change.
