  1. An extremely useful chart - most valuable! I have long pondered on who exactly Generation X,Y,Z and so forth are. Now I can see it at a glance.
  2. Subsequent queries will ask whether the Pope is a Catholic, and include inquiries into the toilet habits of bears in wooded countryside...
  3. It takes a special level of "skills" to have a ND (negligent discharge) with a warship!
  4. Methinks that Thaiger is on a bit of a roll: "Revoke Visa"! As Thaiger might write: " With a thrilling display of liberating athleticism, the victims propelled themselves skywards to land, four square, upon a passing bandwagon!"
  5. In latest news, a chap in a black worsted homespun, with a white collar and a tall black hat with a buckle on it has posted a clip from "#massachusets on the case". The video includes hysterical evidence from 3 young women which prove conclusively that J. K. Rowling's is a witch. She must be burnt forthwith and all her ill gotten wealth made over to the LBTG alphabet soup community!
  6. No hankering at all - I am refering to the fellow in the "urban spaceman" outfit on the left!
  7. No-one gets out except perhaps those in the door seats.
  8. Turnout was suppressed for the referendum in those areas which were likely to return an unfavorable verdict. There were far fewer voting stations than normal. The one voting station for my local town was at the government offices on an open road some kilometre outside town. Well publicised police " road vehicle checkpoints" were set up on both sides of it, several hundred metres out. Now, rural Northern Thailand, at least 50% of motorcycles were unregistered, many without number plates. Didn't half cut down the numbers turning up to vote!
  9. Those pesky senators and their re-election/reappointment! I'm sure that they didn't want to do this until the last weeks of the next General Election campaign! This way allows too much time for a re-incarnation to emerge!
  10. First dibs on the dressing up box also gets the blonde (photo 3)!
  11. Or, as the photo posted earlier suggests, everyone and their carry on bags! "Delusional " is perhaps a bit strong though? Mind you I have never been in a plane crash, although I did fly "One-to-Go" and Phuket Air years ago!
  12. Mass of the Resurrection at Assumption Cathedral - well it is Easter after all! After Mass you can scoff as many sticky buns and chocolate as you like...
  13. You pick up the disabled passenger, firemans lift to the evacuation chute.
  14. I hope he did. Whatever the circumstances of this fellows past life: 1) it is none of his business, however shallow his new "love life" may appear. 2) do you want to be the spark that fired him up to jump from his condo balcony? 3) washing his hands? I have only been married once, to a Thai. We divorced reasonably amicably a few years ago. I think that she now regrets that, as she enters her 50s, in fact I would probably take her back, if not as a wife, certainly as a "companion". I am now 66. I expect that by the time I am 75 (if God Willing I make it) that will be the case. I went out last night, to dine at the restaurant where my daughter(a student) works part time as a waitress. I then went for a couple of beers in a bar, which serves as my local, where I sat and enjoyed the company of a lady I have a drink with most weeks. If someone had tried that stunt on me in the toilets he would have left with a nosebleed.
  15. I thought that a goober was a brand which mixed peanut butter and jam (jelly) in a jar. Mind you, my source for such detail is "Melissa Cooper" from "Young Sheldon", who whilst explaining it to her mother remarked on how much time it saved!
  16. I think he read it off a sticker on the gun rack of the pick up truck in front of him at the traffic lights the other day!
  17. It gets better, once he gets the Republican nomination and becomes an official candidate, he will start to receive secret briefings. He will no longer have to rely on his stache of 4 year old documents in his spare khazi at Mar-A-Lago to keep that little tape hidden!
  18. So they are close to deciding which person, or group of persons of influence, gets their paws on the rights...
  19. You might try this stuff - jolly good for burnt fingers!
  20. Blokes in miniskirts may be a good starting point...
  21. How things have changed since the days of "The Italian Job"!
  22. If she had cancelled prior to the taxi turning up, as it appears, the bad luck to the driver. Unless of course you are a thug and a bully... I'll bet the meter "doesn't work"!
  23. A bit light on the "projecting awe" front though!
  24. I have got a Big C cheapie. The bit you press down to heat it up is becoming a tad unreliable - but at 100 Baht a year, used daily at breakfast, I think I can cope!
