Correct, and tens of thousands probably more like hundreds of thousands are now growing for recreational use and a second income stream at home. Thousands of businesses are now openly using it and selling it. Loads of people are sending me pictures of their plants, people that I thought would never be into it. I even found an employee growing cannabis last week at one of my businesses, who was politely told he can't do that on company premises. Too late to roll it back now.

are people selling rooted clones ?

Depends how much good quality bud you could get out of it. From what I have seen all the Thai strains sold at these markets are tall, gangly and unhealthy looking, unlikely to be massive yielders. Probably because they have been grown outside without proper care and nutes. -

They serve and protect their own and their Sino-Thai masters. Just as it has always been and how they originated. Fighting crime and serving the needs of ordinary people who are victims of crime is a Western concept, and must seem quite odd to them, that there are people who perform this role as a job overseas and not purely for profit.

Westerner hospitalised in Pattaya with self-inflicted wounds

Likely this was a fallacy. The word asas in Arabic means "principle". The Asāsiyyūn (plural, from literary Arabic) were, as defined in Arabic, the principle people. The term "assassin" likely has roots in hashshāshīn ("hashish smokers or users"), a mispronunciation of the original Asāsiyyūn. From Wiki.
