  1. The importation of flower from the US to Thailand is not a rumour it is fact and it is continuing to happen. I know someone that is importing flower from the US legally and apparently has a license to do so. As soon as the law changed on June 9th there was imported flower everywhere at ridiculous prices.
  2. You'd be wrong, the weed is coming in from the US. There was a story I was told from an informed source that a rich influential Thai had imported several shipping containers of weed from a well known 'brand-name' weed company in the US. He went further to say that this Thai had also bumped his partners in the US out of their share of the money as well.
  3. About 20 years ago I knew a Westerner on Phuket who did airport trips in his Pick-up or Fortuner type SUV (can't remember what he drove now). He had a lot of loyal customers and I used him once or twice. He apparently did rather well out of it. This was before even the 'meter taxis' were available.
  4. Indeed, Bolt is just a microcosm of the entire country.
  5. A certain birthday speech may have been the reason it even happened. Overwhelmingly popular policy the war on drugs was at the time.
  6. Not if he is convicted by a judicial bias as a result of a military coup.
  7. A military coup and subsequent junta, not an elected administration, took power using the threat of force, and then started judicial proceedings as they had to keep Thaksin from being re-elected. The charges against him were thus politically motivated, regardless of merit. Hence Thaksin is free to travel the World and his convictions are not recognised anywhere outside of Thailand. Completely different from the Ferrari guy's family paying off the cops so he remains free.
  8. Not if his convictions were politically motivated after a military coup. It would have been so much easier and simpler to have followed due process and not had a coup then his trial and subsequent conviction would have been regarded as legitimate. But that didn't happen, there were not even any charges brought against him until long after he was deposed in 2006 by the military. I wonder why? ????
  9. His convictions were politically motivated after a military coup. Which is exactly the reason why he is not regarded as a criminal anywhere in the World outside of Thailand and is free to travel where he wishes without fear of arrest or persecution.
  10. https://siamseeds.com/product/banana-purple-punch-cannabis-flower/ Not the cheapest but quality is top notch as usual. ????
  11. Correct, the entire country is corrupt to the core. Which unfortunately affects some people that would otherwise be moral or good in their actions.
  12. They don't and can't check with your home country. If that were a requirement or they did actually want to check, you would need to request and produce a criminal record check from your home country yourself, as you have to do in all Thai Permanent Residency (PR) applications.
  13. Baking soda also helps to raise the pH in soil. I experienced low pH in soil that I bought from a market here when I started growing and it locked out my plants and they grew stunted. Lesson learned. I would just keep watering at between 6.5 to 7.0 pH and it should be fine. for soil that's where you want to be.
  14. For living soil water at 6.5 to 7.0 pH. For coco, peat moss and other inert mediums fertigate at 5.8 to 6.2 pH. For deep water culture systems a pH of 5.5 is required. That's it.
  15. All growing low quality or mids and charging a premium. Most will be out of business in 12 months.
  16. No, I moved to Thailand in my late teens and have never been married. ????
  17. They would likely resign en masse if they are not able to extort the general public. Those mia nois and Benz won't pay themselves.
  18. Sorry, but that is simply a lie. ????
  19. They are like children, they will lie until logic and truth trips them up.
  20. Those posters are poor trolls and best put on ignore for the sake of sanity.
  21. They've tried to kill him a few times. Remember the grenade being chucked into the reception of his hotel on Soi 24 many years ago as a warning.
