  1. They should be reducing that 800k to say 500k at least for the non-married..........
  2. Minimum 800k at least 2 months before current application. Minimum 800k at least 3 months after previous application. Minimum 400k at all other times since the previous application. Don't know if ALL Immigration offices check this.......
  3. Yes 'Rain' does wreck havoc with the health of many locals, don't know how many times I've asked "how did you get sick?" Answer - 'rain'.
  4. A Thai lady many years back said its a "soft" culture here.........
  5. Off topic, Hello UJ, if you were to leave Thailand with re-entry permit on your extension of stay and were still abroad at 90 report time from the cycles before you left, how can you just continue the cycle at zero when entering and do an online report 90 days later ? Wouldn't the online system show your cycle is out of sync thus not accepting a report and having a new tm6 ? thanks....
  6. I guess it could be a Phuket rip off thing, 80,900 looks like a 2021 price tag. At the of June 2022 I was quoted 82,500 for the new Aerox auto start, then the increase 5-6 weeks later, ( "shipping cost increases" ). Quoted 75k for standard edition key start and only 2 colours to choose from.
  7. Always sporting an 'inadequate' looking smirk.........
  8. I did mine in person at Immigration, when they submit it all on their system, you get an Address Notification slip - keep it in your passport. Yours was done online, take a screen shot of it and tell them your tm30 was done online when you go for your 1 year extension.......
  9. Brand new last year - 40k sounds very good unless he's racked up 20-30,000kms on it lol....better grab it......unless there's hidden secrets about it.........
  10. Thanks ! they are 87k now, should have bought last year lol. With the Yamaha Y-connect App, you can pair the bike with your smartphone-bluetooth ... GPS, mileage, battery, oil, rpm, trip mileage, temperature info, etc on your phone. Make sure you are on the Thai App Store, I had to frantically change my App Store so they could pair it all up........ or don't bother with all that hi-tech bla-bla..... your choice......
  11. Think its best to talk with an owner of a place you are interested in for long term regarding TM30 before signing a rental agreement. In my case the owner was quite clueless as well - I printed tm30 forms for him to look at and screen shots of immigration websites instructions for landlords/owners and instructions for foreigners if owner does not want to deal with immigration. Obviously find another place if they are not interested in giving ID, Tabien Baan copies..... All went well, he gave me everything I needed and signed - TM30 done in 20 minutes at immigration ( Phuket ). They do like seeing that address notification slip in your passport come extension time.......
  12. His blood sugar appears to be out of whack.......
  13. Update - the new Aerox 155cc auto start are now 87,000. I cancelled from that shop after waiting 8 weeks and them telling me the price went up from 82,500 due to shipping cost increases, contemplated the standard addition ( key start ) for 75k.....then went to another shop they had 4 auto start available in store, bought the black and light grey colour one with small gold striping.
  14. In another read elsewhere not long ago, big companies said to be looking elsewhere rather than here to set up - Vietnam, Indonesia etc....
  15. Those look very similar to Goodrich. I've run BF Goodrich A/T 265/75R/16 on the old chevy Silverado for a long time, a smooth grippy ride........
  16. Like I said, the LTR is available for the few.........
  17. I know a fella from Sweden with the O-X, every time he arrives at Swampy he's got more more than one IO scratching their heads trying to decide what duration of stay stamp to give him...... thats how often they see the OX......... He's usually creating quite a line up behind him......
  18. Sounds great, when you left CW with your 'help' was the retirement stamp a CW division 1 stamp ? My stamp was another Province Office, thats a little 'off' would you agree ? Glad to hear you hit it good on that particular day......
  19. Don't use Siam-Legal, many moons ago I did a Non O - 1 year retirement ( 15 months ) multiple entry -my first. Went to CW with a young hot shot in a suit, got it all done quickly for a big price, couple days later looking more closely at my stamp it said Chacheangsao Immigration ! Living in BKK and working outside Thailand on a 28/28 rotation I didn't have to do 90 day reports, would have been problematic doing 90 day reports in BKK with a Chacheangsao stamp, be careful - try doing things on your own.....
  20. Available for the few..............
  21. Yeah that arriveCAN BS. I had mine printed back in March for arriving - nobody asked for it. You can upload your Thai Vaccines on a BC vaccine registry records website ( for those vaccinated abroad ) submit it, takes about 7-10 days, then can print a Provincial and a Federal QR Code paper document.
  22. I did a TM30 at Patong Immigration last month, handed the IO everything but not the POA ( had it all filled out with the correct stamps ). He started on his Computor work with my documents, a few minutes later I showed him the POA paper - he took it. I assume if I did not show him the POA the tm30 still would have been accepted with what I had first handed to him....
  23. Yeah I guess its fair to say there's small amounts of hassle getting a Non O at home country or in Thailand...... choices choices, its all doable.......
