  1. Thai work only for Thai people, as foreigners we have to live with that.. I don't  never any advice or do anything anymore for the Thai society.. Tooo dangerous for being caught for "illegal" work without a workpermit...Thai people don't have a clue what they are missing on other experiences, help, contact.. but alas in a closed conservative society I can live with it

You seem to have trouble reading. "Today, authorities raided and shut down a car rental company in Thalang District, discovering Thai nationals involved in money laundering," You can take night school courses in English and reading comprehension if need be, I recommend it. Meanwhile one thing for sure, Thais are superior to you because you're simply inferior to them, and to everyone else. The "crimes" you accuse them of happen everywhere, including YOUR home country. Quit whining or go back where you came from. It's not your country. Really. If you don't like it, leave.  We don't need hypocritical complainers, we don't want to hear it because most of us are quite happy here, we can accept the way things are because we're better off here no matter what the flaws may be.

Says someone with no brains otherwise he could discuss properly.. Thais in  Dubai, South Korea, Japan , Finland and many other countries are doing much better

Can Thais retire to your country and work without any problem?

Yes they can... If  you retire in my country you always can do volunteer work.. but if you work you are not retired... So retiring and a few hours a week you can work and even more hours as volunteer without a workpermit.. You are accepted than as one of us with the same rights and duties no double standards

I don't blame the Thais. We are just different.

One common example are the different nightlife spots. There are bars for Thais, for farangs, for Japanese, Koreans, etc. We all like to do things differently.

Some Thai guys have mia-nois and seem to be proud when other people know about that. Many farangs do more or less the opposite.

The list goes on and on.

I know and understand you.. I am sorry that you think I blame Thais, that is not the meaning. i just wanted to try to find an explanation of what differences we have

in your experience, would you say that the majority of Thais think we are better or worse than them?

over the years i have had thai people tell me that they tend to think that farang are smarter and better than them, but this could of course be a smokescreen.

    bob.

indeed... maybe they feel ashamed to be friends with us...so they keep distance

  6. You are right in 20 years in Thailand we don't have male or even female friends to hang around with, Some reasons are that they can't /don't like to speak English and they are not willing to teach you Thai, There is a class system in Thailand and some Thais think that we are different class lower or higher than they are. And the definition of friendship is something different than we are used in our homecountry.. We have given up already a long time ago.

Do you know how difficult it is for most Thais to enter the EU / UK, let alone work there? Does the Schengen agreement help Thais get jobs in the EU? 🤦‍♂️

Why should Schengen help anybody to get a job?? Is Thailand helping people who live here to get a job?? Besides When you have a long term visa than you can work in almost any job you want as here in Thailand only allowed to work in 1 job and all the rest is working without a work permit.. Best example was the Norwegian woman who had a workpermit as a manager but was not allowed to drop of some people at the airport an was arrested for that... How outdated can laws be??

  8. Dutchcheese4you in Hua Hin has several kinds of really good cheese products.. sausages and other .. Only online orders but quick deliveries. I am happy with them as Makro Hua Hin has got rid of all the cheeses except Mozarella and Parmasan

So no one can enter the Schengen area to work without a Schengen visa, i.e. there are laws in that area that prohibit working in the area without permission.  Most people can enter Thailand visa-free or VOA, Schengen area should get rid of that outdated visa requirement!

Sorry I don't discuss with people who have no idea what is going on....You can't read and have no clue.. Never left Thailand probably. Goodbye again
