I am a permanent resident.. not difficult at all.. and I don't want a citizenship as Thailand can't offer teh benefits I get from my country...But permanent resident is ok for me... Casinos are normal a part of the entertainment venues in the West, so nothing special here in Thailand.. Tourists don't come on holiday to play in a casino maybe a few.. And if the plans of the cabinet will be approved , all foreigners who want to enter the casino must show that they did a criminal check... How stupid and ridiculous some rules can be

THailand has a lot solve first.. airpollution, traffic accidents, expensive THB, overpricing, outdated laws  and  not tourist friendly laws ad alcohol sales and buy hours, vaping, and chasing foreigners to fine them, while netizens with the same offences are left alone... Headlines in the news how bad the foreigners are, no guides available in many languages.. Only in Thai, and maybe some Chinese and English..and laws that forbid foreigners to work as a guide( protected occupation).. and the tax law will not bring many new expats and retirees... A lot to solve for the Thai Government

Is there a proof that these people copycat the plans??? Are not all Thai dishes different of taste according to the cooks taste?? Tom Yam Kung, Som Tam  and many other dishes of which the recipes can be found everywhere on the internet??? So what is the problem?? They are stealing the menu chart.. so what?? Maybe the are collection menus....and did not have this one ... What a lot of problems about a piece of laminated paper

Yeah watch my lips... Over a few years Thailand is begging foreigners to come here, as the country now is chasing them away... Foreigners are needed for the  economy, but as Thailand never had to do anything for tourists  to come, the world has changed and with no investments and outdated laws, we can read already that tourists and expats choose other countries.. You will be happy that the foreigners are gone, but what will be left over for the Thai people ??? Poverty will increase as the debts are now already so high  But whe the expats and tourists are gone it is almost impossible to get them back in a short term.. No more riff raff foreigners, as it seems that Thailand treats all foreigners as criminals...

A good stupid idea without thinking.. Make vaping which is less unhealthy illegal but the normal cigarettes makes the cheaper, which worse for your health and will cost more for healthcare of the people.. The best solution is make vaping legal and tax it and the same with cigarettes all at least 42 % tax on it.. Look at the wines.. they are too expensive too because of the tax, and although it promised to lower the tax it never is done and the prices are still too high.. With less tax people will buy more with the result that the tax income will be more.. and for cigarettes it is the same if you want that people stop smoking make it expensive.. Find out what InEurope a package of cigarettes costs because of the high taxes... and I know there will people say Thai people earn less, but if the price will be 100 THB a pacakage I am sure there will be less smoking. The problem however is that the rich owns the tobacco industry and they don't want to loose money and profits, the rest they don't care about

You are right, but protectionism can and will be destroying progress... There is no need to protect guides only for Thais.. Thais are very poor in many languages  and it could be solved to open guides for everybody, with the rule that a Thai should be with them, only for help of the foreign guide.. for example to order foods, contact with other Thais... It would be a win-win... And I agree that land is a different item.. Thailand is free to choose to give only Thais the opportunity to buy and have land nothing wrong with that..But on the other hand all businesses must be for 51% in hands of Thai which is ridiculous.. If I want to make a business in Thailand, and I have to invest 100 million THB for example, than I have the minority of shares in my own company and of my money...   I know there are ways to prevent this, but in fact it will keep investors away.. We don't live in the 19 and 20th century anymore.. Thailand must be open and it will bring prosperity for everyone, but it keep the old laws without updating them

It is impossible in THakiland as being a guide is a protected job only for Thai people.. The EU doesn't have such protected jobs.. Indeed there a Thai can work as a guide if he has the correct visa, but In Thailand being a guide is only for Thais.. All jobs should be open for everybody, and no protection anymore as we don't live in 19/20 century anymore... but as long Thailand is only for Thais, things will go down and down..

Conservatism and protectionism are main reasons that Thailand will go back together with the manipulation of the expensive Thai Baht... Thailand is killing itself

A mistake that can happen everywhere, but sadly for this guy it was deadly... A proper investigation and check could have prevented this, but as many times in Thailand there isa lack of responsibility, and too quick solutions..

THailand is getting more and more a province of China it seems.. a few years to go and it is like Taiwan..
