It is always nice to have hopes, but hopes don't bring you anything. The reality is totally different as we have read several times already that companies have chosen anothe country to start ...... Tourists will be the same, hopes yes, but with the global problems of rising oilprices, and expensive THB outdated laws on alcohol and e cigarettes, and a announced double pricing for non Thais and a entrance fee of 300 THB, and many more they can hope, but most people use their brains and with an army based Government with new elections with unknown results, the hopes for Thailand is far away

Result of an incompetent Government.....Invest in electric cars, solar energy for common people, less holidays or make monthly wages instead of daily, so that not only Government officials have paid holidays, invest in a new railway system to reduce traffic and promote public transport, review visa rules so that Thailand will be attractive for tourists, backpackers and expats again, work on the waterways to prevent floodings every year. It are just a few things that Government can do. and they have to stimulate the Thai people to work, so that they don't need the cheap workers from the neighbouring countries. Make you own country and people happy.. But nothing of this happened in the past 8 years, not even 1 A5 paper with plans

Alcohol restrictions during daytime, but in the entertainment industry 2.00 closing time must be extended. Same for deadly accidents as we can read many times that a lot accidents happen in the early morning. So The Government want to open the entertainment venues till 4 am but for who??? And we don't talk about the drugs that will be used. Sorry but the night is for the bad...always was and will be. 2.00 am is more than enough

A review?? Thailand should enter the 21st century with its outdated laws, the corruption all over, so that the few with money always get less punishment. There is a big need for a radical reformation, but as long as the people let it happen nothing will change.
