  1. Indeed Thailand is not willing to reform, although it is very needed, but there is a chance now with the young ones, with new views because of the internet and hopefully a better education that shows how unfair the richest is getting richer, and surely the Shinawatras not want as anew coup glooms as the family wants to bring back the ones in Dubai. Yes I am optimistic, but I think i will be disappointed
  2. There is no education reform...never was and will not come... books are the same as 25 years ago in same lettertype and pics..and questions in the class are not common, as in meetings for teachers they will not open their mouth, because it is not tradition, and kids have to keep traditions more than open their minds...Of course.. brainwash them at an early age to handle them when they are adults and they can still ruling the country as it always has been.. No progression... as they write themselves... changes are a burden
  3. It will be implemented differently, with more expensive landing and departure rights for the airlines or so... They always wins if it is about money and the public will blame the airlines...
  4. And the common people are not allowed to drink alcohol..... but this kind of mistakes should be severely punished
  5. You are right...If Thailand treated everybody fair instead of dual pricing and excessive in hospitals bills, nobody would really complain, but now.. you have to pay again for nothing and even don't know for whose pocket
  6. That should be high on the agenda... the punishments for new coups, and reforming the power of the army...
  7. Good to hear that..... It means that TAT will miss their targets of tourists, it means that Thailand economically will go back, it means the country will make any progressing in any way.. people will get poorer, more household debts, etc... and it will lead to worse.....
  8. I hope they will win as if the Pheu Thai wins there is a serious threat of a coup as Thaksin wants to return and the last coups were done because of him and his family.. So to prevent he comes back and causes problems again, Move Forward is the best option.
  9. With the ordination the monks throw away their money as a symbol that they don't need it... I am always wondering why monks have so much on their bankaccounts.. People give them money for praying at home/funerals and weddings, but in fact that money should be given to the temple and not kept by monks.. That is Buddhism how it should be...
  10. Dark for the current Pm and his friends , indeed but a glorious bright future for the country and its people.. At last a Government of the people , as long as it lasts,
  11. impeach the culprits, who are making such mistakes.... a list of rules for common people in Thailand what is allowed. But apparently a reason why there is an alcohol ban on these days, in preparation they even fail....
  12. entrance fee 300 THB and exit fee 1000 THB.... tourists will come by millions and millions...or maybe find other more welcoming destinations
  13. I thought that a caretaker government was not allowed to make new laws...Besides 1000THB exit fee is stupid idea, you have to pay while leaving as you spend and paid a lot of taxes already at your stay.. Why don't they use their brains first and stop shouting we want to be a top destination in tourism, for many reasons, but on the other hand they drive people away... Suppose a family of 4 has to pay 4000THB for leaving as a surprise at the expensive airport as extra.. People are not stupid.... and than the tourism sector starts to complain again.. we don't have enough tourists.. Start with a good registration instead of the the blue familybook and let everybody fill in a tax form for several years, as 75% of the Thai people don't pay taxes yet.and the Government has no clue who is doing what and earns how much. and welcome tourists to boost the economy...
  14. indeed but there were the same situation.. The rich and in power did not listen to the people who lived in poverty while the rich were using the people to get richer....if the people choose now and the rich/army dare to question or even ban the chosen parties, people will not accept it anymore.. and I strongly believe they don't accept a new coup either.. with big consequences for the one ... too We live in the 21st century with social media and internet. It is not the same anymore as in the time of Thaksin, or 15 years ago... People know more. The world will be watching too
  15. Unfortunately only the wind and rain were taking the Pheu Thai candidates papers.. rest of parties no problems
  16. except for Thailand....Covid there is surging
  17. In 1789 they solved the problems in a country...
  18. Option 4 you don't have a clue what is going on in this country
  19. They are so stupid when they do this that they don't see it will be the same as what is happening in Myanmar... Good for the country, tourism and economy as they constantly say??? If they don't accept the vote of the public big problems occur...
  20. when it was needed in the Covid lockdown it wasn't now everything is back to normal, they have dual language.. 2 years too late... But alas it is Thailand
  21. sex sells.... but is it sexy?? no not at all it is hoo.......ish....
  22. Shows he has no clue.. How can govern as you have a minority???.. Besides everybody wants him to go except himself...
  23. Stupidity... tourists are not allowed to vote, and what is the main reason to ban alcohol sales for a day for a handling of that someone has to cross or color 1 small box on a paper....estimated time 5 minutes a person.....
  24. than I only say section 112..... you don't need to be observant to see it is not 21st century anymore... Look Saturday to the crowning of Charles just an idea how things could be too
