Against the Government you get jailterms.....the real democracy in Thailand.....while other serious crimes are being unpunished or bought off...Shame

Today at lunch my partner and some other people were talking with wifes of policemen who had lunch too. The wifes claimed that policemen are ordered to take bribes to hand over to their superiors, and many will quit when they are 25 years in service. But nobody dares to stand up against their superiors.. It is all over Thailand according to the women... Just to say, and apparently the Government knows it, but don't care

You will find crappy drivers all over the world, but many in Thailand that is for sure

How dare they speak about driving if there is not even a proper education and test...A lot drive even without a driverslicense, as in expat land you get a good education practice and theory.. Thatis why the death toll in Thailand is so high. It shows how superior they are

10 year long term visa, with no really benefits... Far more expensive than annual renewal, need a lot of money in a risky financial enviroment in Thailand. in fact not interesting

brake failure?? It was the first time they have stopped or used the brakes??? and never a problem, but now an accident it is suddenly failure of the brakes.... Very strange and unbelievable

That is normal in Thailand.. On every market street or pavement you find people on motorcycles, bikes and cars driving in the walking shopping people... But in a country with no enforcement of laws you can't expect anything else

Good for air pollution, and black smoke cars.....Sadly so called help, but when the oilprices are changing there is no fluctuation in the price anymore too

Government will not do anything anymore.. They are almost finished and no time anymore. Or it must suit the elections...They approved so many things and did not do anything with it anymore...just approved to keep people quiet

Yes indeed with storm last days and the pouring downs... accidents could not be prevented... That is easier than learn to adjust how to drive in all kind of weather conditions.. Probably they did not speed, they kept distance from each other, had good working sweepers on the on window etc etc.. Nothing to blame.. Nature did it

holiday jobs.... sure it will help temporarily the problem, if there is enough paid and working hours are also normal instead of 12 hours or more a day

Kill the tourist and take care of the stray dogs..... Violent street dogs should be killed, for the safety of people... No need to say impossible because Buddhism, as it sometimes look like killing people is more normal than stray dogs and that is accepted...

Maybe start with solution to get less polution.. Today on the news over 7 years there will more electric vehicles... other news is that Thailand want to help other countries with their waste..... Why in the western world can there be cities with zones for only vehicles younger than 6 years to prevent pollution. In teh wester n world there has been a big cleaning of the old cars which polluting more... Why can't here? If I see some cars they are pre WWII cars it seems and others are at least 40 or 50 years old and some even almost fall apart.. Why not a program to get them off the road and buy younger ones with help of the Government.. It will be better than travel together
