Report Cannabis Chaos: 12,000 Thai Shops Face Closure Under New Rules
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The problem is that the Government legalized the cannabis a few years back, and now suddenly they want to turn it back. All businesses can't operate if what today is allowed tomorrow it is forbidden.. The Government must accept that they made a mistake first by too quickly legalize it and now to criminalize it again.. Make good regulation about how much the shops are allowed to have in stock, to who they can sell and how much and control that strictly.. instead of only medical use, and all that kind of stuff they want to do now.. Everybody knows it will not work.and in the meantime legalize the vaping too with similar regulations instead of pretending to forbid it.. too many people are vaping already, you can't turn back time- 176 replies

Report Thailand Tightens Alcohol Sales: New Rules Take Effect
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The air that you breath is toxic too..., the food cooked in PFAS pans gives you cancer, inhaling smoke from others can give you cancer, the sun is dangerous for heatstrokes, burning and also cancer, the lightning is dangerous as it can hit you, driving on the road especially in Thailand is very dangerous, even crossing the street on a pedestrian crossing or sitting in a restaurant at the street side, as cars sometimes drive in it, The sea is ver polluted so you can't swim safely, Eating too jmuch gives you obesitas, too much sweets diabetics, and if you get 100 years old you can ask yourself,, have I enjoyed my live?? -
Report Thailand Tightens Alcohol Sales: New Rules Take Effect

The USA the USA... there are more countries than only the USA..and yes drunks are everywhere, but there are also rehabilitation centres or help, and there are many bartenders who will not service you anymore when you are to drunk.. Probably not in the USA , but in my country plenty...In Thailand there is no need to self response.. Helmets as you say for an example.. self responsibity should be the slaogan.. No help if you get an accident and insurance will not pay.. But in Thailand it is never a problem... as it claims to be a Buddhistic country everybody needs to be helped.. and so because there are no consequences people do as they like as they know there is never a problem.. See in schools.. Students who don't do anything will pass to the next grade, there it should start.. Work, study do your job and you will be rewarded instead of a free attention award to go to the next grade... Another example... A young man in my neighbourhood got an accident with his motorcycle, driving at the wrong side of the road, no helmet and no driverslicense...I am not sure what in the USA would happen, but here his family got 50k as compensation.. nobody else was involved, but he was tired and drunk and just lost control... In my country nothing would be given, and even the hospital should be paid by his family... That is teaching others to get insurance, helmet, driverslicense and follow traffic rules... That will make people to get responsible for their own actions, not how kind it is, a gift because he died. It could have been prevented -
Report Thailand Tightens Alcohol Sales: New Rules Take Effect

I am from the Netherlands, and of course there are some rules, but not as in Thailand with limited selling/buying hours and holidays... but there is also a policeforce and justice system that will let you pay if you are drunk, so that you will hopefully think twice to do it again, and yes in bars drinks are refused if you are too drunk....But that is a free country with education in self responsibility... -
Report Thailand Tightens Alcohol Sales: New Rules Take Effect
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I don't agree.. Maybe in the West it seems that it is more regulated, because the laws are being enforced. However here in Thailand a lot of laws, but no enforcement of almost any law if you are a netizen, but for others the RTP even invent new laws. Regulations in the West is to protect the freedom for everybody.. -

You can see now who need a doctor for mental health...First attack the actor, probably others were saying already it is not real, but he must first get rid of his frustrations and than he was confused, but the damage is done... They don't learn to think before taking actions... and of course miscommunication, and a misunderstanding...He could not help it...yeah- 1 reply

Report Thailand Tightens Alcohol Sales: New Rules Take Effect
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Thailand controls everyone everywhere..They decide what is good for you and what you can do or not.. Why not introduce self responsibility in the country?? Alcohol can be bought at the age of 20 yrs and with doubt an id.....Bartenders should stop servicing drunk people as in many countries is be done... and the judges should give real punishment and fines for those who are drunk behind the wheel or motorcycle.... instead of claiming they are poor so 300 THB is already a lot for them or other excuses- 187 replies

ikke1959 replied to ikke1959's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Personal expenses it is my pension every month from the same bank ...I don't understand why don't don't get it...Wise is withholding the money for a day..for some reason.. Explain please why there was no problem the last 5/6 year I transferred te same amount from the same bank to the same bank which arrived in seconds and now it suddenly takes more than 24 hours...You work at Wise as you want to check it?? I pay with Ideal so it goes quick. get email that Wise received the money and it is being processed....and now you get a email the next day that the money has been sent to Bangkok bank and that it can take a few hours to see it on the account... What did Wise do with the money before they sent it to the bank??? Some months ago it was the same but in seconds.. Now there is nothing changed.. It is all digital and nothing has to be done by that.. Believe me I worked at a bank for 26 years... -
