  1. Thailand the hub of non existing laws
  2. The only reason they approve to get more taxes... Nothing else concerns them
  3. THere was i time a handout for the very ones in need, but nothing anymore , only promises next month, next month and next month with a result that it will be cancelled eventually... This is Thailand.. Many Thai people are complaining about this promise and the delay
  4. America yeah.. figures from 1973,, but now we are living 50 years further and DNA and more effective investigations are normal and can be done the change now is smaller...... But there are many other cases that are for sure that the capital punishment could be performed... But lawyers always try to find ways to get the culprits free even for a mistake in the papers.....It will costs dearly... But maybe instead of put them in jail for their crimes give them some hard labour and than if proven unguilty they can be paid for the work they have done...
  5. I vote for keeping capital punishment especially for coupmakers and criminals that are murdering as an example kids in a school or just kill people for 3rd or 4th time.. Better than keep them in prison which cost more than an 1 time action.. But this is not only for Thailand, it should be all over the world, serial killers, endless costs of lawyers and cases going to court every time again, while it is almost always very proven that they did it.. And as it can happen that maybe a innocent is being executed, but that will be very rare
  6. I am wondering why Thaksin is saying this.. He wants new elections??? Yesterday there was a topic that his daughter needed to attend the meetings of the senate too as she was frequently absent... Or is this family God?? Laws for others but they can do as they like
  7. The policeforce has to enforce laws.. This is schoolish behavior... 10 sit ups and fun.. Comedy capers was before the WO II but here still reality
  8. Standing still is going backwarths....No more tourists can be the same as less tourists..
  9. Fake interest here as the holidays are coming and they want to give the people the feeling that they are doing their best to make the roads safer... So all this kind of news is nothing but to save their face
  10. Daddy will take the honors for her... She is too busy with her baby and feel protected by the party and daddy
  11. If they want more tax income they should start with sending everybody a tax form, as Thailand as no idea who is doing what and has how much income, and assets... For the low incomes there is no problem, but I strongly believe there is a whole group that has to pay at least a bit and many bits is a lot too
  12. Big spenders will not coming in big numbers as the THB is very expensive already, which makes Thailand extra more expensive
  13. As many Thais don't even fill in a tax form it will only benefit again the rich, while the VAT affects everybody...
  14. It is easier to do this than enforce the law of wearing helmets, which will save more lives than a car with colored lights.. Besides that I see a whole year driving cars which have all kind of lights everywhere, so in fact why now fine Santa Claus?? Overloaded trucks will be more dangerous too and the blacksmoke emitting cars are more harmful for the public health... But there is no time for to fine them
  15. That means a lot of work and will never happen.. In almost no country it is forbidden to sell alcohol before 11.00 and after 14.00 or on religious holidays..In not many countries are cheap wines so extreme taxed , and in many countries it is normal to watcha movie without blurred drinks... Besides that in many countries there is no law that forbid pics of drinking alcohol on facebook, as it is here seen as a promotion to drink. In many countries the police test al lot of drivers on alcohol consumption, day and night and 365 days a year, The fines for driving with too much alcohol are high and many drivers know that, not the low fines here in Thailand, Bartenders must keep an eye on too much alcoholconsumption in several countries and can and will refuse to sell more. And there are many campaigns on TV , internet and billboards which are warning against drinking alcohol. And many more examples... But Thailand has ideas but it will not work as they don't enforce anything.. Sounds nice with the upcoming holidays but on the 5th of January 2025 everything is being forgotten already
  16. In mu country there re no such problems happily. It is an educated country, maybe a place for you to go and get some information about the real world outside THailand.... If you don't know we live in 2024 not 20th century anymore
  17. You can't change the capital of sex of the world in 1 year.... They are trying to make it better, but it will take a long time some decades to change it...
  18. I am wondering how it is possible to collide with a parked truck if you are driving ... I suppose you watch on the road what is going on, but as wrote in another post, it seems they are hypnotized like robots driving from a to b without being aware of anything else on the road...Besides that the time of the accident for a 16 year old boy ........ But alas this is Thailand
  19. Although he is right that people should do their job, he has no voice, as he is not elected..... The first steps to new coup are already here now....
  20. In many EU cities they have banned older cars out of the city centre and trucks, lorries are allowed on certain times, just to prevent congestion and pollution. As people have to pay for something it is always a problem, so this a solution that cost almost nothing and will help to get less cars in the centre of Bangkok. Besides that there must promotion not to use cars for short distances. How many cars do you see with only 1 person in it and halve the number of taxis...
  21. Good to arrest these culprits... this week there was a release of somebody who was convicted for 500 million fraud, there are many drugsdealers, maffia, youth with guns and knifes, traffic offenders, and many more crimininals in Thailand, but the an Indian man who makes a living in selling icecream without an impossible to get workpermit ( he is not allowed to do anything a Thai can do )and overstay visa is the worst here can happen.... Good job policeoffers.... do the easy things and let the big fishes get away, as they probably help you to gat an income raise.
  22. Apparently there is a law in Thailand that all vehicles that are bigger are always wrong. So in this case the truck is bigger than the motorcycle so he is wrong. A motorcycle bigger than a pedestrian, the motorcycle is wrong, If you know that you are always wrong when things happen I can imagine you don't start to care anymore and the fines, punishments are so low that it doesn't even scare them off
  23. I don't know how people drive here.. If I look at people on a motorcycle it seems they are hypnotized... Looking straight forward, no adjusting at traffic only to avoid obstacles, but keep on their speed, stop suddenly in the middle of the road or at a shop or turn left or right. They look like robots programmed from going from point A to B and than when they are at their destiny they become human again. Except when their phone is ringing than they react.. Never see a motorcycle slow down or wait.. This situation is probably the same .. The truck makes a U turn but the motorcycle just drives without looking, thinking, slow down, brake or avoid...
  24. They can arrest foreigners quicker than Thai ladyboys or criminals...
  25. The picture doesn't look that it is a new one...
