The schoolbus??? even animals are being transported better. How safe can kids be in a pick up with a roof sitting on benches that are gliding up and down as they are not fastened in any way, and the pickup filled with 28 kids... Travel safety is not in Thailand for school busses, and accidents like this are happening many times. When is there some care for the kids?

Outdated laws in a country that is not willing to enter the 21st century.. The whole process of getting a workpermit is so difficult that many Thai businesses even don't do it, but the foreigner has to pay for it, as in the eyes of Thais they are rich... Thailand is aiming on tourists who will drink all night??? That are quality tourists and big spenders??? It is clear that Thailand has no clue what people want.. In the bars the people have to work longer probably for the same wage and after 4 am, there will be more accidents, problems, fighting and drugs abuse... and indeed it will have an influence on the working people living around these bars.... How smart is this Government?

Yes... because if they don't can or want to apply for a long tourist/non immigrant visa, they are probably not worth to come.. Thailand want to have quality tourists and visitors.. so if these people are not willing to apply for a visa they probably are not the ones with quality... Free or cheap is always low quality

The question everytime remains... what is a tourist?? If you come to escape the winter you are not a tourist anymore touristin British English (ˈtʊərɪst https://www.collinsdictionary.com/external/images/info.png?version=6.0.86) noun 1. a. a person who travels for pleasure, usually sightseeing and staying in hotels Personally I think that tourists stays on a holiday destination mostly not longer than 3 weeks and than move on.. But if people want to stay longer they should not be called tourists anymore.. IMO it is very expensive to stay in hotels for 60 days, even if you are retired and many times coming in and out will cost a lot of money for flights. Probably these kind of tourists have an own accomodation and therefor not real tourists and should apply for a non immigrant visa...

I think not only Thaksin will regret this, but many people who loved the Mother of Thailand but are in prison or hospitals will feel the same.. So why is Thaksin given again this attention.....

They are right.. It is not good for your health if you don't get enough sleep and stay up all night... Besides that the danger of using drugs to party will in creasing and with more drinking the roads are more dangerous,,,, Best thing is lift the alcohol ban during daytime and let the bars and entertainment venues close at max 2 am... Everybody happy and for those who want to stay up all night, go to 7/11 and buy your beer there

A normal tourist has enough for 30 days visa.. Longer stays are making more problems.. Of course if someone likes to stay longer let them apply for a 60 or 90 day visa at the Thai Embassy or Consulate in their country.. At least than there is some control and visa fee...60 day visa no extension possible not allowed to enter the kingdom again within 180 days, same for the 90 day visa..Everybody happy

Good idea and than think that tourism in 2035 will 60 million...no foreign guides available and with the current low English speaking guides, nobody will book a tour anymore

The the people buy alcohol during daytime, than the bars can be closed at 2 am... Normal times... Tourists don't come to Thailand because the bars are open till 4 am. Besides that how about the people who work in the bars.. They must be paid, and work much longer.. but for the same money? and how about the drugs and accidents?? Is nobody ever do any investigation before making a decision?? and the people around a bar are not happy too as it will disturb their sleep every day, which has an influence on their work as they are less concentrated.. Maybe open bars near the houses of the Politicians and their families who want to open the bars till 4 am

correction all foreigners are unwelcoming guests, only the money they bring in is welcome and more foreigners are being aware of that and less are coming... why should people go or stay in a country that is not treating you as guests but as ATM's? They were warned several times, but did not take action.. For once the laws are being enforced and now they are complaining??? Indeed mostly it stays with a warning sometimes 100 times for the same, but happily this will be an example for many others to start changing things if they are being warned.. Don't complain now, you knew what was wrong I would tell them

The night is for ...... you know.. girls at night on the street are probably offering themselves, so they have money to spend and the boys are many times dealers, although it doesn't exist according to the RTP... so they have money too.. Both don't need to work but can prevent other people of a good night sleep as those have a normal job.. And the RTP???? you know... mostly easy money to earn and don't need to do anything for it

Stupidity of the Thai Government is unknown... In daytime you are not allowed to buy or sell alcohol, but you can do it at night till 4 am.. Thai people don't need to work?? Is it useful to stay opemn till 4 AM?? What about the people who are working in these venues? they don't need to clean and sleep?? Must there be more problems in drugs, drunk driving, fights, and traffic accidents and than claiming that the the health care costs so much money?? And more sound pollution for the people who live nearby as the people will not turn the music down after 0.00 It would be better to take away the draconic high taxes of imported alcohol and ban the alcohol sales/buying hours and that will bring more profit than these stupid ideas they have now.. And the RTP will do nothing b y complains as there working hours are from 9 to 17 and they are being paid by the entertainment venue not to come by complaints..

Of course it must be an ex-prosecutor, as the working ones, judges and lawyers can't be prosecuted for their bribes.. Protected by law......

The Government will control everything for everybody,, except their own lottery is allowed and now they have extended it wit a so called save for your pension lottery... Many foreigners are used to play cards in their freetime just for fun, not as a gambling game. But in Thailand everything must be controlled by the Government and nothing is allowed as everything can be seen as gambling...darts, snooker, playing cards, bull races, chicken fights, etc.. Thailand means a free land, but the freedom is far far away

Maybe check the construction companies owned by the PM family too.. Maybe they have issues too... Obvious everybody is afraid that the Peoples Party will win the next elections so they have to accused already to give the public the idea that they are not competent for the country...The current Government parties have proven that at least they have failed many times...

the only solution for all problems in Thailand is enforce the laws.. but the RTP is nowhere to be seen and do nothing.. crackdowns for a few days and everything goes on as usual.. The Government can pass many bills, but with nothing done nothing will change.. It even seems that the black smoke fuming cars are even increasing than decreasing... but drive on the roads and nowhere a policecar is seen, and if so they even don't care
