  1. The Thai Government has destroyed the tourism and now they have no idea how to solve this problem and attrack more tourists.. The only thing in Thailand is that everything is money based but not on investments, or updating old things to become a modern and safe place, but as I mentioned, the airquality, unsafe roads, double pricing and standards are based on the outdated idea that foreigners have a lot of money and are rich, as you can read in some comments that they claim that it is only $3... but they forget that visiting a national park cost 600 THB a person as for a Thai only 50 or so.. and same we could read about taxis, and hospital bills and the list can go on... Thailand needs to reform as you write, indeed and invest in tourism and when they have to offer things they can charge, but now they only want to make money what they are missing, which will give the opposite effect.
  2. Again a situation that shows the lack of work by the RTP... Complain and nothing will help. In my soi a few primary school kids ride a motorcycle too, very smelly of petrol and a lot of noise and speeding in a soi that hardly is big enough for 1 car, but it seems kids from a policeman or someone from the tessaban and nothing is done about it...Neighbors only complain to eachother as nothing can be done against it. So we just wait till they will be picked up by an ambulance once....
  3. That are just the sources that are not reliable....Thailand has a strong censure in everything that is broadcasted, so if you want to know reality foreign media are more reliable. And critical thinking is not done..It will be discouraged at schools and if you do you can end in jail.. as we have seen already with students in protests, when they did some critical thinking
  4. GReed. greed, greed.. bad air quality. unsafe roads, scamming, double standards and pricing, alcohol limited buying hours, no vaping, and on and on goes the list and now an extra fee for what??? more double standards, scam and pocketfilling
  5. It is a private war between father and Uncle Hun Sen.... They fight with the tax payers money and refuse any mediation, just to show who is in charge... The times of the sixties in America are over unfortunately, although it would solve many problems here in Thailand.
  6. Sextoys are forbidden.. This is common and allowed...see it everywhere, in the money baskets on the market...So I am wondering why sextoys are not allowed... Maybe make it a sport....
  7. According to the Dutch News states that it seems that a personal disagreement between Thaksin and Hun Sen is the cause of these shootings and attack. Thaksin even stated that he let the army do as they want to "teach Hun Sen a lesson".. The US China and Malysia have offered mediation, but Thailand refused it as they can solve the problems themselves... Just to say..... again I suppose the Shin clan is the one who makes the troubles
  8. Sounds good, but with the gambling addicting that is already going on, it will be a new burden for the people, who hope to win a big price in the lottery. Never forget that Thai people live by the day..There is no future investments for most or thinking about tomorrow. I would scrap the plan
  9. The only thing I miss in all topics is what happened really... I can not imagine that Cambodia starts to fight, but I know that Thai news is not broadcasting all facts, and only approved news. This is another example I believe...
  10. , it is generally not allowed to give your passport to someone else. A passport is a personal identification document that belongs to the issuing government, not the individual, and is not transferable. Lending or giving your passport to someone else can lead to legal issues and potential misuse of the document. Why it's not allowed: Personal Identification: Passports are specifically issued to an individual and contain their personal information, photo, and other identifying details. Government Property: Passports are the property of the issuing government and are not transferable. Potential for Misuse: Allowing someone else to use your passport can lead to identity theft, fraud, and other criminal activities. Consequences of giving your passport to someone else: Legal Penalties: You could face fines, imprisonment, or other penalties for misuse of a passport. Criminal Charges: If the passport is used for illegal activities like fraud or drug trafficking, you could face serious criminal charges. What to do instead: If someone needs to prove their identity, they should use their own passport or other valid identification. If you need to share information from your passport, such as a passport number, make sure you are sharing it with a trusted organization or individual and understand the risks. If you are traveling with someone else's passport, even if you intend to return it, you could face legal issues.
  11. Thailand forget it in fact Khmer based.. And now they pretend to have a claim that everything is original Thai based, but Thailand was built from 7 small kingdoms that conquered land from the Khmer...But if there are no problems Thailand will always find one
  12. and poker is not gambling>> And gambling is forbidden in Thailand... I am confused now
  13. In my passport is stated that it is a state property and is not allowed to give others...So immigration can never claim to hand over your passport for whatever reason and not only immigration but also rentals, hotels, or anyone else.. State property....
  14. So duty free that it was more expensive than in a normal shop
  15. Hooray... again a number 1 place... more important that quality
  16. Same as all crackdowns... 3 days and it is over , back to normal.. Look at the latest helmet crackdown.. I have seen policemen driving around and a lot of people without an helmet, but the police officers just pretend they don't see them, it seems only roadblocks can be a problem for motorcyclists... so that is a Thai crackdown. instead of everybody without a helmet put aside an ticket them on every road.. This will not be different... I know that there is a man in our neighbourhood is caught several times for drugsdealing, but with an envelop he still continues....
  17. Common sense..... which patient are in a hospital for 181 days?? Terminal patients or serious infected Corona patients..All others are sent home after a few days weeks or a few months, but nobody after 6 months
  18. They are closing the whole island???
  19. Thailand is the land with the most ghosts. I see many possessed people too on motorcycles.. It seems they don't see anything look like hypnotized never slowing down always driving the same speed and never see other traffic. Probably this man too and many others just didn't look left and right before crossing...Nothing about ghosts
  20. Confusing every time.. Last week drop in tourists this week a surge...What is true and what can you believe of the Thai News??? I am sure they bend everything to make people feel happy and show how good the Government is... Reality is the opposite or less rosy
  21. a hub again.... maybe the best hub is to get rid of the Shin clan....Higher fares he is proposing for PSC, as the 300 THB is on hold now.. but what will the traveler notice to pay more for nothing?? Thailand is not Singapore, look at their airport and compare that with the boring airport of Thailand, besides that the living standards in Singapore are not the same as in Thailand.. He can compare the same fares with Paris too, The man is getting senile, or crrazy.. Time to get rid of this whole family asap
