Big C with Big noise.. I never go there anymore as the music too loud and on every corner a blaster announcing prices of the articles nearby.. Silly situations ... just as people can't read how much a T shirt cost, or underwear or a bottle of coke or whatever.. They chase people away instead of creating a quiet atmosphere were people stay longer to relax and buy morem as many studies have proved. Here in Thailand the louder the music and the more noise the less people will buy ...Complaining doesn't help Thais know what is best

Understandable. Thailand is manipulating the THB and with an more expensive THB they will get more money as things are being more expensive.. So at he end of the ear everything looks well but in fact it is all made up. They just realize this??? It is normal to see what they are doing and the impact of things when it is too late.. and than they want to turn it back which will never be able.. Tourism they have broken down several years ago already and look how they struggle to get it resolved now.. Now the tax is again a problem that they first do and when the expats and retirees are gone they realize they had made a mistake but they can't correct it anymore and so there are many many other things they do by not proper investigation and thinking of consequences... I know several sold their house already and left the country and more will follow as i hear in the expat community last week... Myself I am considering too what to do

People don't marry for love they marry for the dowry.. Time to end this medieval practice..And most people don't even marry for real, but only ceremonial. If they had a legal marriage things would become much different

As I wrote many times, Thailand should register residents where they live and not in the blue family books. Then everybody has to fill in a tax form with their jobs, bank accounts, earnings and possessions. This could show a lot of information, and also shows the bribing and corruption ... As when someone has a job of 15k a month , he she can't without explanation have several houses or expensive cars.. And they could say it is from a inheritage but that is easy to check too as the ones who died have filled in tax forms too.Besides that the real poor people are easily found and can be given proper help, but at this moment the Government has no clue where someone lives, is doing what earn how much and what assets they have. Easy to reform tax, but first make a real thing that you can reform.. Now there is nothing as 75% of The Thai people can do as they like

What is the problem? A bar is free an if they give free internet it is up to them. That the man did not spend anything should be told by the man in charge that consumptions are obliged or leave. They don't have a clue what the local Thai people are doing and earning, how can they know what foreigners are earning/Where and how do they get the information from? I am not sure if all financial institutions are giving all informations as may countries have a law to protect the personal information. And besides that how do they use all the different languages, forms, etc Almost nobody can speak or read English here.. I think it will be just as everything a lot of screaming but in reality nothing will happen. Thais don't like to work

The death penalty should be in every country be allowed. There are people who are not worth living as you read the crimes they committed.. Serial rapists, serial killers, terrorists, schoolshooters, and more ...Keeping them alive in heavy guarded prisons is very expensive and that money could be spend much better instead of spending all the money and time to doctors, treatments, and food. And spare me the Christian values please, as in the bible they also talk about an eye for an eye, or cut a hand of for stealing and many more examples. Forgiveness if fine as you are not involved in the crimes committed, but who would you respond if your daughter is raped and slaughtered by a serial killer?? Would you be so forgiving too??

How about people who like to travel around?? They have book all accommodations before??? Great for tourists, more paperwork and hussle .. Tourists will flock in again, no visa anymore but we introduce something different, but almost same
