Not giving money they have to work for it and Thailand is much bigger than only Bangkok. And in Bangkok life is much more expensive too. Cheap labour is ok but The Government should start with monthly salaries of a minimum of 13k a month for max 6 working days of max 9 hours.. and 1 day week off and if there is an holiday on a day that is not your free day than you have 2 days off but it are paid days.. just like the Government officials.. and than see what will happen suddenly all holidays and substitute holidays will disappear, which is good for the production and people will be able to buy more which is good for the economy, and the businesses, but the greed of the CEO and shareholders are so big... They don't see the whole picture only their own wallet and claim they can't afford it.. But the billions of THB they have and millions they earn it should not be a problem that they would earn a few millions less ... Even the superrich don't care The people of Thailand are modern slaves with long working hours low payments and no help.... while others don't know what to do with their money.. Example is the PM.... She and her family will never be able to spend their money they have and earn.. but they should be forced to live with the minimum as people now do for at least a month and things would change very much although, they are so blind and greedy their eyes will never opened. No wonder teh education is kept low, suppose people would see this ....

Maybe a salary raise would be a start, as who can live on a daily wage of not even 400 THB hardly 10 euro a day, while prices are going up, too many holidays and too many costs for kids in school and food

Almost impossible to survive 2 weeks without drinking. Mostly 8 days is already deadly.. and if injured they could have infections with sepsis as an extra danger.. so after 2 weeks ... Of course hope is always there but I think it is a false hope

Last minute measures which will not just as every year, work.... But the job is done It is announced and now time to enjoy their holiday.. They really don't care only around Songkran and New Year holidays. Instead of 24/7 365/365 days a year check and fine and educate people how to behave or fine when things are not ok, It is only 10 days a year all the rest of the days people can do as they like..And the judges should give big fines so that people feel it in their wallet. That is the best things to get things done...and not in the wallets of the judges and police of course

What a strange article.. We went to an ordination party of a monk and there played a band and there were a lot of coyote dancers with minimal clothing and a lot of kids.. I was in a school and I saw kids danced like coyote dancers too as boys as girls.. And now the netizens are upset??? Maybe they should first stop with all the copulating movements in dances on stages in public places and temples before comment

This whole system should be abolished by judges who have to treat everybody the same and are not corrupt. So the most corrupt person in this country says what common people must not do, while he spread his envelopes to every one to go abroad, get bail, don't need to stay in prison... and he did not refer to high society??

Of course all kind of reasons why Songkran will give less economic results, but they forget that everything is getting more expensive and the salaries stay low and the same... except for the ones in charge.. Besides How many holidays have there been the last months and how many are there to come in the coming weeks?? You only can spend your money once

They will be happy with posts like this.. and it seems that you don't understand how important tourism is Thailand...and believe me Thai people like to argue too... many times we have read that taxi drivers got problems because they overcharged or wanted more money from foreigners.. Never hear this from Thais.. Do you believe that foreigners accept that they are being scammed or treated unfairly?? In Thailand people have to shut their mouth as that is the culture... you can't say anything, because he is policeman, higher ranked, friend, or knows people or you are being threated because you say something. But foreigners are used to say what they don't like and Thais have very long toes and start to argue and like you say.. why do you come here, stay away, go back to your country.... That is very welcoming for people who Thailand need

I know stories from my friends, and neighbours that are far worse than is written on internet... and they are not fake but reality, but Thai news only tells you what is convenient and looks normal without investigation.. But even with foreigners it is only a part of the story.. Never get the whole issue
