Is this the 21st century or still living halfway the 20th century?? Thailand wake up.....make no problems of things that are no problem

Where the money is there are the people,although they don't have anything to do with it.....

Now it is a hot item because of this tragedy but as usual in Thailand, nothing will change, as you need a good policeforce for it that knows how to do their job instead of just checking the payment of taxes... an non corrupt institution that checks all vehicles and doesn't give the papers to pay taxes, and the willingness of the Thai people to stand up against others that bring lives in dangers, for example crazy minivan drivers, taxis, etc ..So nothing will change because nobody will start to do something

It is one of the many tragic malfunction examples of the Thai army.... The instructors or so called higher ranked will show their power and abuse everyone who resist... Reforms can't be done as they are in power of the country too and we all know and saw what they do if people come into the streets... Punishments will not be given and everything will laid off as a misunderstanding... I don't like torture, but I know a few good punishment for these guys so they will never do it again...

You never know where you can be fined for in Thailand... The laws and rules are being invented instantly ... It doesn't mean it is a stupid action of the man, but he was relaxed so nothing the mattter. If he got in trouble it could be another story

No need to push... every day I see car racing on the road or I hear motorcycle races at my house on the highway.....Don;t bring more dangerous ideas to the Thai people

What can you expect over overloaded schoolbusses even older than the one of the fire, or just open vans crowded with kids, standing in the back of the van,, no seatbelts, no protection and even a bench in the middle of the van for more kids that is not even fastened or screwed for safety.. they will swirl through the van ... But nobody cares... as I wrote yesterday the mai pen rai attitude is a distaster for Thailand and nobody really nobody will take any responsibility for what so ever... Always others to blame, the weather, the road, the brakes, the cellphone, the wind, an other driver .....

For the tax paying you need your car being inspected at a station.. Last year there was an old car with a lot of blacksmoke, a broken brakelight at the back but there was no problem, he got his paper and could go to pay the tax.. That is what only counts in Thailand... pay the tax, but don't check vehicles decently... and that is only 1 I was witnessing how many other with more problems are being approved?? Besides that let your car check at your dealer and they only renew/replace some parts, but never check the profiles on the tires, the brakes, the pressure of the tires and several more unless you ask for it and than they still don't do it... No wonder so many dangerous vehicles are on the roads

As I wrote in another article ... another mai pen rai attitude... They have to listen and do as they are told as we all do and all being frustrated.... Shameful that this can happen in the 21st century, but I forgot . Thailand is at least 75 years behind

That is the problem in Thailand... No investments are made no changes no renewals .... Look how many trucks are driving around more than 75 years old or older.... and that in a era of climate change.. a 54 year old bus will pollute a lot and besides that they are totally out of date.... I always say that the mai pen rai attitude in Thailand will bring Thailand in big troubles on everything.. Mai pen rai no helmet, mai pen rai, old bus, mai pen rai, flooding, mai pen rai 10k wallet for alcohol sales, mai pen rai no study you will pass anyway, mai pen rai hitting with sticks or mai pen rai being insulted if you are a pupil in a military school and the list can go on

It will never happen... the case will be adjourned for20??? just as it was the case for the violation of section 112 to next year.... He was granted bail and freedom, while others for less are bail refused and jailed for many years... You are right the abuse of section 112 is always a big threat for Thai and all other nationalities...people are disappearing, or jailed for an outdated law that is used to silence the oppositions.

All laws should be reviewed and the alcohol sales hours, the extreme tax on imported alcohol should be banned too.. The whole community is built on money money and money.... Nothing is more important.. and for the 10k handout is already proven that it is a disaster.. people buy alcohol, spend it on wrong things and are even assaulted for it.. It would be better as I wrote many times get them 20 vouchers of 500 THB printed with the id card of the owner able to spend all over Thailand, but not for alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and lottery.. It is easy to blame a storm for the failing management of the past years....Of course a storm will damage properties, but what is ever done to keep the impact low.. Never built a dike to prevent floods, never cleaned canals and waterways, they sell lands to built houses near rivers, concrete every where the water cant go any where and many more, while climate change is already going on for years, but there are no plans in Thailand... only try to solve problems as they occur instead of preventing them

There is no shame in the EC... as long as it is not Pita and friends, or other opposition people there is never a problem, and surely with the big brown envelopes of Daddy all evidence is gone...

The kids are being hit by everybody... I see parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, older brothers and sisters, teachers, monks hit kids for minor offences... Once a mother hit a toddler because she was sitting in a shopping cart and wanted a donut from Mr Donut. The mother hit the kid because she wanted and pointed and cried for one... And in an other place we were having lunch a kid in a corner cried. the kid was barely 2 years old and a grand father hit it with a stick several times because the kid cried. When I wanted to grab the stick and hit the grandfather with it as I was so angry to see it, my partner told me not to interfere because it was normal in Thailand.....And years later when I was in school teaching a classroom Thai teacher hit a student with with a stick, and than I took the stick out of her hands and broke it, as in my class no students are being hit.... It was a real issue even had to report by the director... And still I have seen many times in other schools too that kids are being hit for nothing and not just a small tick but really they hit that the kid flies up... And everybody tells me the same.. It is normal in Thailand.... No law can end this

Evry year a one time handout of 10k??? Raie the salaries to a decent level of 600 THB a day or even better change from day wages to monthly salaries.... 15K a month for a 6 day working week all extra days off included... That is 500 a day for a full month.No matter how days off there are and working hours not more than 8 day. Far better than old fashion day wages.. And people can work on a daily base or parttime.. That is what in they do in the Western world too...There will be no problems..but keeping the people here poor is much worse by extra days off that don't need to be off ( substitute days)

Japan is far away.. Maybe also warnings for the storms and typhoons in the Caribbean????
