Chiwetel Ejiofor is a shoe in for the role.
Great actor who was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in "12 Years A Slave". Same age as Chadwick Boesman.

And there was me thinking it was about more shops closing down. My bad.

That is not a place you should go to. Unless you like animal cruelty. Crocodiles being swung around by their tails, filthy living conditions of the animals, Elephants being abused. Really extreme. Amazing that this place is allowed to stay open.
Agree, but one farang and his family staying away will change nothing. My son loved it and the crocodile kebabs are great.
Besides, crocodiles aren't exactly saints.

Crocodile farm, dolphin show, barbie on the beach is my son's favourite, off there this afternoon.

Murdoch has long been known for backing winners. He obviously sees Trump as a nailed on loser. Expect Fox and the NY Post to distance themselves more and more from Trump and lean towards Biden as the election nears.

Accuse Trump of all sorts of things such as the "Russian Collusion" Keep him so occupied defending himself that he can not dedicate his time to pursuing his agenda. They did the same thing when Romney ran and they accused him of paying no income taxes which was not true but he exhausted effort in refuting the claim.
The Goebbels quote is exactly Trump's MO. Always has been, even before he ran for president.
Has he released his tax returns yet? And what is Trump's agenda?

Likewise post #95. Trump is trying to win the election by perpetrating irrational and unsubstantiated fear amongst the more gullible elements of the population, ie his base.

How can Thailand know about have covid infection?
TVF members told me “Thailand not have any test covid” 5 month already.
Another conspiracy theory = BS
Other TVF conspiracy guys say thailand a lot covid, the “government” hide that. For tourism.
Why not hide this one?
Because conspiracy theory= BS
*Thailand FIRST country (out of China) test Covid.
People with high education are less likely than people with low education to believe in conspiracy theories.

They are useful if u need them. Surely their warnings have collapsed with the lack of tourists and all the bar workers back in isarn.
For win riders, you've hit the nail on the head. Their core customers in central Pattaya were the bar girls.

I've known some funny and quite honest motorcy taxi drivers, joked around many times with them and at times had a regular driver. Sometimes I have a trusted driver go down to Immigration and do my 90-day report for a couple hundred baht. Yeah, many of us, I think, are glad to have these guys around when needed. One of the conveniences and part of the character of Thailand.
Couldn't agree more. One win rider is also my plumber and always invites me to go cockfighting with him.
However, the win rider in the OP is full of it. Very few tourists ever went to Big C Central.

All around the world, locals get discount.
Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Disney world in Florida, castles in Scotland.
And I would have no problem with that if it was locals vs tourists, but I live a couple of miles from Nong Nooch Gardens and still get charged farang price.

just how many expats regularly visit tourist attractions, including national parks? Some for sure, but can be the thousands necessary to justify the legal and infrastructure requirements to implement such a card scheme?
double pricing is never an issue for me, I never go to “tourist” attractions for the simple reason that I am not a tourist.
I would say that some of the more remote national parks are visited more by expats than tourists.

Would someone please post how much they think they spend annually because of dual pricing?
So far I don't see it as a budget buster.
Annually? At least 500 baht. Strangely, I always come away from attractions feeling that I've had value for money. Probably because I don't ask how much Thais pay but focus on what I've paid.

We are talking about the UK here, not the civilized world, stay on topic. There's obviously no need for mass testing if no symptoms are spreading.
Thailand is on all green lists from most countries including israel, europe to the United States, just not on the UKs, because, well it's actually you guys who are brainwashed.
European greenlist: Those on the list are Algeria, Australia, Canada, Japan, Georgia, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.
Everyone can enter the UK right now, they just tell people to quarantine at home with zero enforcement, including Thais and Americans. As always everything the uk government does is nothing but a farce.
Can I remind you that this section of the forum is for people to ask questions of and receive answers from the British Consulate. This thread specifically concerns why British people can't return to the UK, from Thailand, without the necessity of 2 weeks quarantine.
It isn't intended to provide a platform for some blowhard to have a rant about Britain.

Jason Statham plays the head of the Wakanda tribe in blackface? That would go down well.
Ciwetel Ejiofor Was born in London of Nigerian parents who were both of the Igbo tribe which has strange parallels to Wakanda. As such he could bring something very special to the party.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igbo_people
The Igbo people are a meta-ethnicity native to the present-day south-central and southeastern Nigeria and also Equatorial Guinea.[13] There has been much speculation about the origins of the Igbo people, as it is unknown how exactly the group came to form.[14] Geographically, the Igbo homeland is divided into two unequal sections by the Niger River – an eastern (which is the larger of the two) and a western section.[15][16]
