Try visiting Soi Buakhao. In LK metro bar zone only people I saw with masks were a few servers at the craft beer place in the corner. Most restaurants outside malls don't seem to bother with any measures anymore.
I never claimed that they did. I'm talking about ordinary Thais going about their daily business, shopping, visiting the market etc.

You're imagining things. Before covid no one wore a mask except for a few weeks in Bangkok as a result of the pollution last October. In Vietnam - yes, masks have long been a fashion accessory stretching back years, for scooter riders. Well technically to protect against pollution of course, but you know what I mean.
Its not a fashion accessory, its to keep the skin on their faces white,

the whole spy app thing is getting old also ... did they EVER use it after an oubreak ?
Not an app, link to a website. Didn't exist when Covid was active in Thailand. Was mandatory for the short period when lockdown was being relaxed. Now it still is displayed outside restaurants, shopping malls etc. but hardly anyone using it.

Only wore a mask in Terminal 21 & hotel lobby.
No one in the restaurants wore a mask, or walking the streets.
No one on the beachfront in Pattaya or Jomtien.
Same as Bkk... people are wearing masks inside shops, schools, hospitals or BTS.
Maybe also lifts etc to the offices.
I was in Pattaya yesterday. Most Thais walking in the streets wearing masks.

Some people always wear masks , because of the pollution
A lot of girls always wore masks on scooters to protect their faces from the sun. It hasn't been much of atransition here for Thais to wear masks all the time. Its now become a serious fashion accessory. You can't just wear a mask it has to be a statement mask.

"Farang" is not a pejorative term in Thailand.

Your avatar perfectly describes the type of person you are Mr. Pol Pot.
I've been to several parts of Thailand recently and from my own observations, things are as I've stated. There was a lot of fear and panic early on, much less now. Granted they're ramping it up again in border provinces near Myanmar.
Name those places where very few Thais are wearing masks.

I think it is like that nationwide. You can take off the mask or put it below your chin once past the checkpoint. Besides, if you're eating you can't exactly eat with a mask on!
So you don't know what part of Thailand you are in?

Yes, it's much better than living in fear and believing everything that's on TV. Only stupid people don't question things.
Only stupid people try to tell Thais what to do in their own country.

polpott, you can assemble any given set of 'facts' to arrive at any conclusion you wish to produce. Here's the recipe: you include the 'facts' which agree with your desired conclusion, you be sure to leave out the 'facts' which would disagree with your desired conclusion, and you slip in some 'facts' which aren't 'facts' at all but you take care to give them the appearance of being actual 'fact.'
That's propaganda (which is just a form of deceit) in a nutshell, polpott. The video you provided is transparently propaganda. It deliberately contains 'facts', it deliberately omits facts, and it deliberately suggests 'facts' that are not 'facts' in order to present the viewer with a deliberate 'factual' conclusion.
I'll try one last time, which facts in the video weren't actually facts?

Yours never had any. Consistently tried to wind up N.Korea and China.

No, it would be much better educating the people about the truth.
Good luck with that! A farang telling Thais what to do. 555

IMHO its very much your responsibility to not go round offending the local people. Their country, their fears.

I wouldn't vote for either of those either.
Best voting for Biden, he will tax the rich not the poor (opposite policy to Trump) and won't go round the world trying to start wars.

Be assures, now that Trump has introduced his health as a topic of news discussion, his health will be continually scrutinized.
Shame we can't do the same with his tax returns (as with most other presidents). Now that would be interesting.

Not where I am. Looks like you've been successfully brainwashed. By all means wear one to enter a store that requires it, but just to walk around outside...ridiculous.
I don't wear them because they are necessary, they clearly aren't in Thailand. I do it so as not to offend Thai people.

What is madness about it...what magically changes in a person at midnight when their time on earth ticks over from 17 years 364 days and 18 years? And a major plant of the Democrat Party is to reduce the voting age to 16 years...they apparently feel people have reached sufficient maturity to make political decisions affecting the whole country by then...so surely they would be old enough to own firearms too.
You can't kill 35 of your school mates by putting an "X" in a box.

Probably because they have good beer and good food. I just wish they opened earlier. Would be perfect for a boozy lunch.

Lines of food run out all the time, then new products appear. I dont have a problem buying the things I need.
I buy British produce from Saiamsbury's. For several weeks a number of my favourite products were unavailable. I asked the owner and he explained that there were supply chain issues due to Covid. As of a week ago all back on the shelves.
