Trump Works at McDonald’s claims Kamala Harris 'never has
placeholder replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Well that'scertainly a change from the last election. And I don't recall seeing any criticism of Trump coming from you during this election. And I see you have no answer based on reasoning for your claims about the minimum wage. Just an empty assertion and then absurd postulate. -

No, they quit the experiment because Republicans refused to support a rise in it. -

Another example of your innumeracy. Rising wages are one cost input of many. So it makes no sense to say that a wage raise of say 8 dollars will result in an increase in prices that will nullify an 8 dollar raise. And, what makes your remark particularly comical, is that Trump is proposing tariffs while denying that they will increase the cost of goods. And one of his arguments is that American workers will get higher wages as a result. -

And apparently you believe that it would be a bad thing if other workers wages had to be raised if the minimum wage rose. -

It's truly ironic that you accuse me of being innumerate and yet you come up with this mishmash about the minimum wage. Why would nothing be gained if the minimum wage was increased? Are you claiming that the purchasing power wouldn't change for those whose wages were increased? Do you think wages are just some kind of status symbols and their sole significance is establishing where you stand in some kind of pecking order? -

Harris’ campaign told the Times she worked at a franchise on Central Avenue in Alameda, California, in 1983, the summer after she was a freshman at Howard University https://www.forbes.com/sites/mollybohannon/2024/10/20/trump-works-fryer-at-mcdonalds-and-accuses-harris-without-evidence-of-lying-about-summer-job/ -

Of course I will provide you the information. But it's truly bizarre that you make these allegations without apparently making the least effort to find any evidence. https://archive.ph/czaqb -

Nowhere in the country is $7.25/hr a living wage. Harris has identified the McDonald's she worked at. An old friend for her university days confirms that she worked there. You've got nothing.- 336 replies

I guess if you don't believe a decent living wage is a human right, you have made a good point. As for the awkwardness issue, funny how Trump supporters celebrate his plain speaking except when it comes to possibly offending the ownership class. -

Trump serves up McDonald’s fries, but dodges question on minimum wage Trump didn’t answer a question on pay, instead focusing on promoting his unsubstantiated claim that Kamala Harris never worked at the burger chain. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/10/20/trump-mcdonalds-minimum-wage/ Raising the minimum wage is very popular with American voters who apparently have a lot more sympathy for low paid workers than does Trump. -

Lots of people like you made the same sort of predictions for 2016 and 2020. Lots of people were wrong. And you misunderstand polling if you think that the pollster that had the best result in 2020 is going to have it again in 2024. There are highly -rated pollsters whose results differ. Unless you're a visitor from the future, all you're doing here is baiting.
-
And you are incapable of understanding definitions.
-
You clearly still don't understand the definition of gerrymandering. It's about manipulating the boundaries of a constituency to favor a party or a class. In other words geographical manipulation. Would you wrongly characterize as gerrymandering has nothing to do with that.

Foreign Election Interference in the US 2024 Election!

So are you hiding in an attic or under floorboards somewhere? I had no idea you were a martyr in the making. -

A national ID card is exactly not what the right wing wants. That would proof of citizenship requirements as a means to discourage potential voters. It would also go a long way towards making it difficult to hire undocumented aliens which would be really bad for the agricultural interests that so heavily support Republicans. -

It's because I'm a public-spirited citizen that I comment on your remarks. It's my way of disinfecting the thread. -

As far as Michigan goes, such an ad may discourage some of the ethnic Arab populace from voting for Harris. But given that Trump was responsible for moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Israel, and his over-the-top support for Netanyahu, I doubt it will generate many pro-Trump votes.

A pro-Donald Trump Super PAC funded by Elon Musk is chasing votes in two key swing states—in ways that outright contradict each other. According to Meta and Snapchat’s political ad disclosures, the Future Coalition PAC has launched a digital advertisement blitz in parts of Michigan with a significant Muslim population that portrays Kamala Harris as a fast friend of Israel who’s tied to the beliefs of her Jewish husband, Doug Emhoff. In Pennsylvania, however, HuffPost has reported that the same PAC has targeted Jewish population hubs with ads that paint Harris as being too pro-Palestine. https://www.thedailybeast.com/elon-musk-funded-pac-chases-jewish-and-muslim-votes-with-conflicting-messaging/

US Warns 'Manipulation Has Happened' Due to Betting on Elections https://www.newsweek.com/2024-election-betting-markets-warning-manipulation-1954815 Another explanation is biased betting. That is, that Trump supporters are more likely to bet than are others. The performance of DJT stock provides very strong evidence of this kind of bias. It's clear that there is little evidence to support the price. Its revenues are meager and its prospects are dismal. It's clearly way overpriced. It's a meme stock. And the odds of a payoff are obviously far worse than they are for an actual bet placed with a betting service. And yet its price has been rebounding.

Can you please share with me the major accomplishments of any person that occurred while they were vice-President. I believe it was James Nance Garner, a vice-President under Franklin Roosevelt who remarked that the office isn't worth a bucket of warm spit. These drones are an indicator that WW3 is about to break out? Will tiny armed parachute troops be leaping from them?
