I think more in the way of, when Nato steps in now it open the doors for a move from China and then we have a situation that is completely out of control. If Poetin goes further then the Ukraine and dicide to enter a Nato country, China will stay out because Nato is defending one of its own members.

This is happening at the same time as economic data suggests strongly that foreign tourism income has a far higher impact on the country’s economy than originally thought due to its impact on confidence and the level of indirect economic activity generated..................................NOOOOOOOO, realy??????
But im happy if i can travel freely without the shots.

Unfortunately NATO is sitting back and playing by the rules.....which effectively hobbles them.
Nobody is going to do anything to NATO if it chucks away the rule book.
It's insane to "play the game" while a mad dog is loose.
True, but its always better to try to avoid a war that can grow out of proportions. And if this Russian maniac decide to go further then the Ukraine Nato can not sit still anymore.

Yeah, we should look better to the Thai drivers and take that as an example.

In the case of the Polish invasion it triggered a declaration of war by Britain and France......they were treaty bound to do so.
At the moment Putin is being "appeased", as Hitler was in 1938.
If Putin stands by his stated ambitions he will next go for the Baltic States.
If NATO manages to wriggle out of fighting him there he will go after, from his allied Byelorussian base, the Czarist Russian Empire possessions in Poland........
We're not just reading about History now.......witnessing
it.
What scares me the most is that if Nato steps in there is no way that Poetin can beat that kind of force (unless China starts to back him up which i wont think they will), what will be his last move? Russian roulette with the bullet on the right place or press the button?

Just take the turn to "forget about Covid". Useless to spend any time or effort in that. Focus on the way to get visitors back.

So sad that the Ukraine and Russian citizens are hurt big time due to a traumatized mad man.

Almost everything. Food, way of life, entertainment, Beauty of land and woman, freedom, most of the Thai very nice people, and not understanding the language (so i dont hear any complaining). Brilliant country.

Don’t go down the path of vaccine mandates, rather show anti-vaxxers for who they really are.......................Yep....not stupid. The biggest bs i heard during this so called pandemic, you do it for the other people. What a lot of rubbish. Im not in one of the "danger zones" and trust on my immunity system. Absolute no reason to get a, short term effective, vaccine.

Jesus Wept! It is a very active pandemic with nearly 6M deaths worldwide (1M in the US alone) and well over 12,000 deaths every single day. Commercial interests are pressuring governments to call this an 'endemic' problem, like catching the flu every year or getting hayfever in the spring. This is not true. Hospitals (where there are any) are overflowing and people are dying from other preventable diseases because of this. AND nobody wants to wear a mask <deleted>. It doesn't 'feel nice'. Big Pharma and others are making billions and billions off of this, they would like to see it go on forever.
Keep on dreaming

Putin doesn't need an all out invasion beyond those "republics" and a bloody war with mass civil casualties. Such move will be a disaster domestically and won't sit well with the army either. He's a ruthless sob but not a madman.
The West clearly doesn't want to rock the boat either judging by the lame non-individual sanctions announced so far. The biggest Russian banks that make things happen as far as international trade (Sber, VTB, Gasprombank, Alfa) are still not sanctioned, Nord Stream 2 is not critical for the EU for now but the chances are it'll be up and running before the Ukraine gas pipeline deal expires in 2024.
So if current status quo remains the direct consequences for Thailand should not be that big of a deal. A temp hike in Oil/Gas prices and less Russian tourists due to RUB nuking.
May be a second "Berlin" is in the make. With the east of Ukraine as a so called safe zone for Russia.

They keep repeating the same phrase over and over "high quality tourist." I think the whole planet knows what they want.
Repeatedly stating the obvious make them out to be fools.

I already suspected that the pharmaceutical world considers making money more important than the health of the users of their products. Now I came across an article about baby powder. And there will no doubt be/are more things going on. Are we to gradually conclude that pharmaceutical companies are criminal organizations?

He also asserted that the current administration is not one that carried over from 2014 but all government members came from the most recent general election.
Yep, that made everything better. A real democratic vote.

So true, I had all the expensive Sj!t in my home country. Look at me how good i am. I thought that made me a better person. But not really. It only brings in a lot of hassle. I will never fall for the expensive rubbish anymore. A good running second hand car, a comfi little house and a good life with the miss and my mates is worth much more.
