Actually, in contrast to the orange in the US ,he is fairly smart. Unfortunately, he has been using his smarts to screw the Thai people. -

Neither, the fingertips, they weren't getting enough oxygen. -
I have serious doubts that he is seriously sick. Insufficient oxygen in his fingertips.Give me a break. I get that when I ride my bicycle for more than an hour or two. High blood pressure, millions of people have that. You will see ,as soon as he gets his parole, he will be as fit as a fiddle again .

The question is, is she rejecting it because she thinks 40 million is not enough for the crap she is producing, or because she is getting less than the Korean members of the band. If the latter, it would be justified. Equal pay for Equal crap. All <deleted> stinks approximately the same, except,of course, one's own.

And a picture of the bridegroom. The attractiveness differential is needed for an exact determination of the price. Of courses it has. Anything to do with sex and love in the farang/Siamese context always gets lots of impassioned replies, more even than the story of the squared faced godfather of CM screwing the Thai people over again.

I could not agree more. If she has real feelings for him, let alone loves him, she will not insist on the dowry .Refusing to pay up will be a test of her feelings. She ditches him ,it was all or mainly about the money. She stays she probably has at least some feelings for him. 40 years ago, when I first arrived in Thailand, it started with demands for a waterbuffalo, then a motorcycle, then a house.... Don't be a Kwai yourself.

Yeah, but half the replies on this forum are more or less irrelevant. To quote the orange one. Farangland is not sending us their best people. -

Possibly, that it will lead to calls for further restrictions of whatever type of visa they had. Knee jerk reactions is a Thai thing. -
I am in Phnom Penh at the moment, and I can't even be bothered to go to the bars anymore. It has been going downhill ,and more expensive, for over a decade. The freewheeling days of 20/25 years ago are long gone, and they will never return. Disagree with Stickman on roads and rubbish. The roads in Phnom Penh are continuously improving, even the traffic is a little better now than 5 years ago. At least PP has recovered from the Pandemic at least as fast as Thailand. Battambang has not. Roads, pretty decent 10 years, are full of potholes. Looks like they haven't resurfaced anything in ages. As a cyclists you notice these things.

No Plans to Shut Down Facebook in Thailand, Says New Digital Minister
thecyclist replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It's something that turned a certain alien looking nerd with a mediocre intellect into one of the wealthiest and most powerful people on planet Earth. -
Every new government since I arrived in Thailand in the eighties made the exact same promise, that this time they really gonna crack down on corruption. How many have delivered: 0 When you yourself are corrupt, you are not going to eradicate corruption. A couple of police officers will be transferred to inactive posts.

More gobbledygook, incoherent. Seems to refer to something, but to what. I wasn't using it for the whole electorate, obviously, these studies take statistical averages, that's what sociological studies do.I would bet you never read a scientific study in detail, or any books for that matter. I good give you a list of starter books, but you will do better on Tiktok.

What are you talking about? Makes no sense whatsoever. A course in logic and rational reasoning might be in order. I criticize Thaksin, and you start obsessing about the yellow shirts. There's a lot more than just red and yellow. Is there anything in my reply about the yellow shirts. The yellow shirts work for the traditional ,royalist elite. You have the limited mind of a MAGA Trumpian:You are not with us, so you must be a radical Marxist .Your reply is not even cliches, it's I have no idea what. My remarks on autocracy are based on studies by the Yale Professors Jason Stanley and Timothy Snyder. So read some books instead of jabbering about whatever is swirling in your head. On to another source:The Bangkok post, about 15 years published the results of IQ tests done in different regions of Thailand: Northern Thailand: 89 Isan: 90 Southern Thailand: 94 Bangkok: 96 Backs up what I said about the support of Thaksin .
-
Many of the uneducated rice farmers in Isan might support Thaksin, the educated middle class in Bangkok despises him. In this regard, the 2 Ts (the orange one in the US and the square-faced one in LOS) are the same:the higher your IQ and your education the less likely you are to support them. This is not to say that the working class in both countries do not have legit grievances, they certainly do, but they are betting on the wrong horse to genuinely and long-term address them .Hitler initially got the masses out of the misery of the Great Depression.Fascists everywhere do not really care about the people, but they know how to manipulate them. They are master manipulators.

That is the problem with the Smartphone and Tiktok generation. In the nineties we had a million people marching in BANGKOK, protesting the illegitimate Suchinda regime. Seems impossible with a generation glued to their devices. It's not just Thailand, all over the world the people get screwed, while scrolling to the next mindless distraction.
