Thailand Eyes Infrastructure Boost to Counter US Tariff Effects
I doubt the tariffs will have much effect on international tourism, however, the state of the country and how it is run probably will.

Thailand Sets Sights on Becoming Global Hub for Hair Transplant Surgery
It's big business, if they can do it well and compete with the Turk prices i can't see why it wouldn't take off. Go on holiday and come back with a head of hair, although it would be half a head of hair if completely bald across the top. Had mine done 5 years ago when i was working in Turkey, was collected in Istanbul in a private car, taken to hotel which was included in the price, had the 6/7 hour treatment, taken back to the hotel, collected in the morning and taken to departures for 1,350 Euros/£1,200. I convinced them to spread the 4,000 hairs evenly across the top of my head rather than the recommended 7,500 total, half now and half in 6 months that they wanted to do. Still all in place and a happy customer. My friend had his done in the UK at the same time and paid 2 x £6,000 for both of his treatments. No idea what it would cost now.

Really ! The chinese economy going down the toilet and the fact Thailand is a complete mess on so many levels would have more to do with it i'd have thought.

Will make it a chore for those that use the weed shops but luckily i buy the compressed 500 baht an ounce gear from a local so won't be affected.

Thailand's Pickup Sales Rev Up with New Trade-In Scheme
The stricter loan conditions have hurt sales so lets get around it by swapping old for new with tax breaks. It will still put the owner of a new truck in serious debt though. A well maintained 5-8 year old truck does not need to be replaced.

New Cannabis Regulation: Prescription Required for Sales
Time will tell how strictly this is enforced. I suspect most sales will now be under the counter as it used to be.

Public Skepticism Persists as Thailand Enforces New Traffic Fine System
Unfortunately, undertaking is the norm on Thailand's highways due to overladen pickups and inexperienced/ignorant drivers sitting in the fast/overtaking lane at 100kmh and refusing to allow the queue of traffic behind them pass. Being honest, i am guilty of this in Thailand, but not in the UK as driving standards are much higher and if caught you will get pulled over and issued a fine.

Thailand's Tourism Industry Faces Pivotal Moment as Arrivals Decline
Tourist numbers falling is hardly surprising, the country is a absolute mess on so many levels. The influx of Russians who were welcomed with open arms at the start of the war and then the 60 day visa free for all has turned most tourist destinations into problem zones. All the bad press we read about daily in the English speaking publications are also picked up by the international press and that is certainly not a good look for a country that relies so heavily on tourists. The bad elements found an easy way in and easy ways to stay are now here for good.

British Tourists Charged with Smuggling £1m Cannabis After Thai Trip
An African country naming a synthetic drug Kush, nothing to do with herbal Kush. From Wikipedia... Kush generally refers to a pure or hybrid Cannabis indica strain. Pure C. indica strains include Afghan Kush, Hindu Kush, Green Kush, and Purple Kush.
