    Not the Thai way of thinking though..... 10 high priced sales giving say 1000 baht profit per sale sounds better than 100 sales giving 500 baht profit per sale. Thai math ????

    With the Chinese economy in such a bad state of affairs, there is a real possibility of even more undesirables looking to prey on the gullible Thais. The powers at be know this but the predicted numbers of Chinese visitors must be met to save loosing face.

    Personally i can't feel sorry for them when my girlfriend only earns 300 Baht for a ten hour day with short breaks. Sounds like easy money for riding a motorbike between a food outlet and a customers home to me.

    A lot of people will be happy to hear of the possibility of a 90 day visa and will be hoping it happens, but for Thailand to throw away a known revenue of a 60 day tourist visa fee plus the 30 day extension fee in the hope of short term tourists staying longer and thus spending more money, is not going to happen in my opinion.

    In typical Thai fashion, if expected revenue comes up short, increase prices to make up for losses. How about lowering prices to increase sales or is that beyond logical thinking.
