All you are saying is that you listen to the wrong sources about science.

You do realize that, for most of the planet's past, temperatures were outside the range that our civilization could survive in. What matters is the planet is in the process of warming beyond the range our civilization has experienced.

You asked a simple question: who is funding scientific research in atmospheric physics. Anyone with any experience in science would thinks that's a funny question, since most research is done by grad students, who are not particulaly well paid. There is a mish-mash of public and private organizations that fund science. Published articles that don't hold up to peer review result in funding problems for the researchers. As a result, researchers who contradict global warming get funded by the oil companies, who don't care about if the research is any good.

Any idea why you can't answer the question about why the Stratosohere is cooling? It sounds like the question caused a bug in your programming.
