  1. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/08/15/politics/giuliani-money-lawsuits-trump/index.html Rudy is running out of money to pay legal bills. He should have thought about that before going around and lying about the election.
  2. The real question for the Trump supporters is whether they believe the facts presented in the indictments are false OR yeah, Trump did it, but he should get off because he's special.
  3. Still waiting for the Trump supporters to post defenses for these charges. Other than claiming that a nationwide collection of prosecutors are out to get Trump because reasons.
  4. Is this "irrefutable report" going to be released in 2 weeks, like his healthcare plan?
  5. I sure hope he doesn't defame those 2 election workers in Georgia, or they will sue him. His latest presentation is going to conclude that there was a massive vote stealing operation in Georgia, which is lunacy.
  6. You don't like reading the indictment, but you will certainly criticize it here.
  7. Still waiting for the pro-Trump talking points from our fellow posters who happen be immersed in the Cult of Trump. I guess the late night (in America) release of the indictment is causing a delay, but the talking points should be available this morning (US Time). My guess? "Sydney Powell was secretely working for Antifa".
  8. My opinion is that there is a danger of states indicting sitting presidents for political reasons, after all this Trump drama is history. Ideally, Congress would pass a law that Presidents can be indicted by anyone (even the Feds), but the indictments would be put on hold, and the statues of limitations tolled, until the president is out office.
  9. A President cannot pardon convictions in state courts. The governor of Georgia does not have pardon power. RICO convictions have a 5 year minimum sentence, no probation.
  10. Trevian Kutti is an interesting character in this rogues gallery: https://edition.cnn.com/2022/06/14/politics/georgia-grand-jury-trevian-kutti/index.html Allegedly, she threatened a Georgia election worker with arrest, if the election worker didn't provide a false confession of voter fraud. Interestingly, she is a minion of Kanye West, and could implicate Mr. West if she flips. Because somebody had to order Ms. Kutti to threaten the election worker.
  11. There is a legal process to challenge the results of an election, but Trump is indicted for extra-legal activities. The tipoff is that Trump did not do the grunt work of examining the numbers at the precinct level. Or maybe his consultants did, but concluded that there was no fraud. Every vote comes from somewhere, so following the votes would reveal fraud. In this case, there was no significant fraud in Georgia. Rudy has already admitted telling lies about the Georgia election. I suspect there will be further admissions by defendants who flip.
  12. Trump has a reasonable chance to get off on these charges due to a hung jury. Its the NYC and DC juries that are the risks for him. But, don't celebrate too much for today's news, this is just the beginning.
  13. https://edition.cnn.com/politics/live-news/trump-fulton-county-georgia-08-14-23/index.html From CNN's Devan Cole, Sara Murray, Jason Morris, Marshall Cohen There are 19 people charged in the Georgia case, according to the indictment. Donald Trump, former US president Rudy Giuliani, Trump lawyer Mark Meadows, White House chief of staff John Eastman, Trump lawyer Kenneth Chesebro, pro-Trump lawyer Jeffrey Clark, top Justice Department official Jenna Ellis, Trump campaign lawyer Robert Cheeley, lawyer who promoted fraud claims Mike Roman, Trump campaign official David Shafer, Georgia GOP chair and fake elector Shawn Still, fake GOP elector Stephen Lee, pastor tied to intimidation of election workers Harrison Floyd, leader of Black Voices for Trump Trevian Kutti, publicist tied to intimidation of election workers Sidney Powell, Trump campaign lawyer Cathy Latham, fake GOP elector tied to Coffee County breach Scott Hall, tied to Coffee County election system breach Misty Hampton, Coffee County elections supervisor Ray Smith, Trump campaign attorney
  14. if a Special Counsel were assigned to investigate me (or anyone else), given enough time, they will find something to charge. So, Hunter Biden will probably go down for something. And I certainly won't vote for him for president.
  15. I am sure you believe that anyone who would prosecute Trump is a horrible person. After all, he is your Dear Leader, and you are in a cult.
  16. "Remember Jerry, if you believe it was true, it wasn't a lie." You are posting defenses for Trump that are so weak that they won't be used at trial.
  17. I am not claiming that Pattaya is dying; far from it. But, even in the best of times, some bars close.
