  1. Certainly before Omicron, preventing mass infection was both possible and smart. But, now, what does Japan do in the future? Countries like America are going to throw their doors open after Omicron, but how does Japan open up without suffering mass Omicron infection?
  2. If souls are eternal, you will go to the same place after you die that you were in before you were born. if souls are not eternal, you will go to the same place after you die that you were in before you were born.
  3. It is likely that, barring disaster, you will live longer than your parents. My parents lived longer than their parents, and were healthier longer.
  4. Getting back to Japan, is it inevitable that nations that have prevented Omicron waves so far are eventually to going to get hit?
  5. The question of Thai ladies lying came up in another topic, but it’s more appropriate here. When is it appropriate for a lady to lie, and when is it not appropriate? it comes down to the state of a relationship. if you barely know a Thai lady, and she tells you she doesn’t like Thai men, no problem, even if she lives with a Thai man. That lie falls under “marketing” . But if you are living with her, or sponsoring her from abroad, and she goes with a Thai man, that lie is poison. if you don’t know her well, and she says she doesn’t go with other men, that’s marketing, no problem. I have one lady who is working me for some reason, maybe she is looking for a sponsor, maybe something else, but she is very careful never to disclose that she goes with other men. One trick is to make vague posts on Facebook about missing a man, but not specifying who she misses. So, 1,000 guys think it’s them. But it’s not a deadly lie, just marketing.
  6. I am trying to get a Mexican visa for a Thai lady, any hints? Their paperwork looks arduous for a tourist visit.
  7. Think of it this way: if you barfine a lady from time to time, you don't worry about what she does when you are not around. I went with a bargirl for a while, but was much happier when she went back to working bar. I could just barfine her when I wanted, and otherwise could go with other ladies. So, that is how a guy living off a bargirl thinks, when she is busy with a customer, he can see other ladies.
  8. My portfolio is about 30 ladies. Over the last year, I know about most of their drama, the lazy boyfriends, the crazy customers, and the feuding bargirls.
  9. Sure, that’s what ladies charge young hansum Farangs in Insomnia. Often reduced to zero baht.
  10. Concerning the Farang who pays the lady to come over only during day, if he is in love with her, he's dead man walking. If not, he probably has a night lady, as well.
  11. If you live here, even if you see a lady just once a week, over time, you get exposed to the drama. The only way to avoid it is not to repeat very often.
  12. The lesson here is not to sponsor a lady unless you are physically with her. Otherwise, the money goes to her Thai boyfriend. Or allows her to traffic herself at reduced prices, as in the infamous 500 baht ladies at Insomnia I can't tell you how many sponsored ladies have visited my condo, with their sponsor subsidizing the arrangement.
  13. I had an ex who created a parallel universe of lies. To avoid telling me she lived with a Thai man, she invented a female roommate with an extensive back story. As you can imagine, telling me too many details resulted in my understanding she was lying. I didn't care she had a Thai husband, I cared about the lies. Postscript: she found a Farang who believed her story that she lived with her young daughter, and could not go out at night, so the Farang phays her monthly for visits to his condo during the day, leaving her nights free for her hubby.
  14. When I was just coming for holiday that was my approach. Now that I live in Pattaya, some ladies try to get their hooks into me, and I like to know the name of their Thai husband before agreeing to have them move in with me.
  15. I took a Thai lady to Dubai and other countries for a few months. While she was away, her Thai boyfriend knocked up another lady, so I guess he synchronized well. Now the Thai lady has to support her husband, his Mia noi, and the Mia Noi’s baby.
  16. My only issue is the freelancer who has a Thai husband, that part boggles my mind. while writing this, I have a married Thai lady on my sofa arguing via telephone with her married neighbor over who gets to visit me in my condo when I return. Apparently, they are satisfied with their arrangement, but are asking to go together to Cambodia after Songkran.
  17. So this is from the Facebook of some Thai guy, where he proudly displays his Significant Other with her Farang boyfriend. she is living with the Farang now.
  18. I love the stories about Farangs living in Isaan with their Thai wives who come to Pattaya to look for a mia noi, not thinking about what the wife is doing alone in Isaan.
  19. What’s missing from your stories are the inevitable Thai boyfriends, who patiently wait while their honey is servicing customers or husbands. i used to think that Thai boyfriends were a benefit for ladies who work bar, but I have realized that they are the reason ladies work bar. They may start work because they are newly single and broke, but they quickly get hooked up and then have to work to support their honey.
  20. https://www.sortiraparis.com/news/coronavirus/articles/240108-paris-and-ile-de-france-incidence-rate-as-of-friday-21-january-2022/lang/en In France, the second epidemic wave keeps on spreading in many areas. Curfew has been brought forward to 6 p.m. since January 16, 2021 instead of 8 p.m.
  21. https://www.sortiraparis.com/news/coronavirus/articles/217313-france-covid-map-icu-bed-occupancy-rate-per-region-as-of-friday-21-january-2022/lang/en 74% ICU bed occupancy as of yesterday.
  22. I got an AstraZeneca booster just 2 months after my last Moderna jab. The only symptom has been an overwhelming desire to flee Omicron infested bars and get out of Thailand, which resulted in my ending up in Brazil. I should report this on the VAERS system.
  23. The $64 question is whether the Thailand Pass website will recognize the QR code for vaccination that MorProm provides.
