Are you for real? There's at least one major newspaper in Israel which regularly posts such opinion pieces. Many other, smaller internet websites doing the same. Can you find many voices critical of Hamas that way, among Palestinians?
-
There is nothing by way of support for some of the claims made in the article. Given the media outlet you chose usually echoes government attitudes and positions, and given Turkey's current stance - not surprising.

You have just posted a link to an Israeli based human rights organization often siding with the Palestinians. I would assume most of the Israelis involved are Jewish as well. Did you have a point? I did not support the things you claim - as i do not agree with most of your claims. I also do not engage in the wholesale denial you imply. You are either incapable of understanding posts made or bent on misrepresenting views stated. Many of your posts on here are lame attempts to minimize Hamas actions, agenda and so on. The rest are non-stop anti-Israeli comments, most of it nonsense. So yeah, it would be easy to 'mistake' you for a Hamas cheerleader. -
What is 'ok' for you doesn't mean a whole lot considering the host of bits from dodgy sources you often post on these topics.
-
There is no carpet bombing other than in your posts and imagination. Your nonsense about Hamas being in tunnels somehow making the civilians Israel's responsibility is nonsense. Same goes for the 'behind', 'under' drivel. That's without addressing Hamas's usage of schools and hospitals, of course.

No need for Hamas to hide behind the Gazans. Or is there?

Apart from the first time, the Mrs. handles all the paperwork, I sign where I should. She also knows when we need to go there and all the other things. I don't need to feel in charge, and trust her well enough to do a good job. Been about 20 years now, system works fine. I get it retirement is easier on the paperwork, but can't be arsed switching, Mrs. likes official things kept routine, so no opposition. Then you do what needs to be done.

No need for shortcuts. It is what it is. If Hamas is sovereign, it's responsible.

Yawn.

Let me spell it out for you. People who specialize in human rights studies, activism and work are often of the same mettle, opinions, and views. There is also a certain amount of group-think and peer-pressure involved. So when candidates are considered for such posts, they are the product of pretty much the same environment, perceptions, political stance and so on. This in turn makes their views and take on things similar as well. Not too complicated, really. As for 'working for the UN', you got to be kidding. Working for the UN is a nice gig, it is not a hallmark of righteousness. I've no idea why you think holding religious beliefs is tied to supporting any of this. By the same account - does your support of the Hamas indicate that you're a Muslim? No once claimed that, I think. But do go on about 'bizarre'..... -

Yes dear. It may come as a surprise to you, but there's a whole range of views in Israel. And a relative freedom to express them. This is nothing new, unless one is clueless, or trolling. Given it's been like that for decades now, it would be more interesting if you could mention some similar Palestinian organizations acknowledging Palestinian violations, and acting to publish and counter them. -

It is a fact that almost all of the relevant special rapporteurs held one-sided views. It is also not surprising given the pool from which candidates are selected, and the nature of the selection process. Pretending there is no inherent bias involved is a choice. -
What are you on about? Gantz 'chosen'? Gantz is the head of a current opposition party, which agreed to conditionally join the cabinet for the duration of the emergency. It was not Netanyahu's 'choice' per se. As for his past appointment for IDF chief of staff - he was a distant third choice, picked after Netanyahu's candidate (and current Defense Minister, Gallant, was dropped because of a legal case). I'm not saying he's clueless or anything, but he's not quite the brilliant strategist or tactician either - his role in this is to be the 'adult-in-the-room', and to generate a semblance of stability and level headed take on things - which Netanyahu often fails to broadcast or apply. How much influence he actually have on current events is a good question. Since this would be the second time he politically 'saves' Netanyahu, and seeing how the first time fared, best be cautious about how things will pan.

More nonsense.....

Hamas is the de-facto ruler of the Gaza Strip, and is considering itself sovereign - hence it is responsible no matter how much you try to spin things.
-
Yawn. Kinda convenient how you don't see, don't know about stuff that runs against your agenda.
-
Pfft. You base your claims on one report - parts of which have already been denied and rejected by Israeli security forces. Considering the event was no secret, and the location in the midst of Hamas intended area of operations, it's not quite clear how they wouldn't be aware of it. Other than a vague single line comment in this report, nothing to suggest the logic or reasoning for the assumption. As for Israeli Police - not exactly the top security agency in country, especially on matters relating to events of this scale. Such assessments are way above their pay grade.

About 20 years now, but temper is an underlying issue. Guess it's also one of the reasons I love her. She did end up digging a nice ditch, although not where it was supposed to be. She's been to the ME on some of my trips, even to Israel and the West Bank. Didn't care much for the people (on both sides), loves the food, though. Med is more her thing - less aggro, more laid back.

She's not an expert. She's a political appointment. To date, almost all UN Special Rapporteurs related to the situations were of the same one-sided mold. Guess it's q requisite when the recommendation and appointment rely on the vote of obvious suspects. -

AJ is a media outlet owned and controlled by Qatar. Most people with less bias and more sense, exercise care when relying on their reports on some issues (such as the current one). Considering Qatar plays host to Hamas leadership, that seems reasonable. And I probably have more Arab friends than you'll ever have, troll. -

What does it say about Musk that it still comes out as whining? -
People can also have bad days. I know I do. Maybe no hot water in the morning. Maybe someone scratched the car. No coffee. Boss saying something nasty as the shift starts. Whatever.

The Mrs. was more into a rage fit. Suggested she take a hoe and work it out in the garden. There was almost an incident.

More lame deflections and fabrications. There were plenty of civilians killed by Hamas men in the Kibbutzim. A whole lot of Hamas camera footage available. There is practically no chance Hamas was not aware of the existence of the rave. It was no secret, and right on their doorstep. Considering the number of Hamas present during the attack on the party, claiming it was 'by chance' is a joke. The notion that Hamas is only responsible for the direct actions of it's own men is nonsense as well. As the de-facto governing body in the Gaza Strip, it's on Hamas anyway. Your claim that the ones who killed Thai workers were not Hamas is something you claim - not fact. You seem to know the exact workings of the Hamas plans, and in detail....interesting.
