    As you just said, trump will appeal. So it means a lot to trump, your opinion notwithstanding. I would have preferred a more substantial sentence. But imo this was not worth prison. A fine would have been nice, but i think he can now only appeal the verdict, not the sentence.

    It was rightfully rejected. After January 20 he is president and Trump himself appealed for the sentencing to be held after the election. So no wiggle room there anymore.
