Just to explain myself in more depth. Initially I purchased a DTAC one year SIM card from Lazada which is 15Mbps and cost 1,400 baht.. Everything is fine but now it's time to to renew the SIM card. My question is can I top up my current SIM card and in doing so retain my current phone number. Thanks.

I've been through this situation before, just completely stop any further construction work on that site. You may be losing money but move on because the expenses will get even larger. Explain to her indoors why you've done this, if she throws a tantrum tell her it's about time you both parted. You will soon see if she really loves your not or she's just playing the money game. Best of luck as you will need it.

Hi there, I use a DTAC one year wifi SIM card and it works very good. The only thing I don't like is every year I insert a new SIM card I need to change the phone number in all my apps. Can I retain my current phone number, if not can I just keep on pre paying online my one year wifi to keep the existing phone number. Thanks.

Hi all, I've been on a 5 years drivers license for the past 20 years. As I need to renew it later this year I was wondering whats the latest requirements to do my renewal. Things seem to change in Thai government offices even when the system appears to be going ok. Thanks.

Hi there, Has anyone ever used Fire Sticks for sports streaming? I've used Blue Stacks/Livenettv for AFL, NRL and Cricket. The clarity of the picture is great but it streams so much it gets annoying. I'm about to upgrade my wifi connection as it's due in the next few weeks. Thanks.

Where I live it's 15-20 minutes to the nearest city. So when I visited the nearest supermarket I used to buy my beer then. When Taksin was in power I used to buy more than one box of beer anytime to work around the law. Then the "peacemakers" moved in and muscled into everything with MP's being made ministers with absolutely no experience in that department. Hence Thailand is nowhere near the place it was when I married and moved here 20 years ago. By the way I have 4 brother inlaws all farmers living outside of Korat, all were going ok until the military moved in now they are living in sub 3rd world conditions.

When I do a renewal with my agent I'm taken to the Bangkok Bank in Pattaya Klang. It's after passing BIG C travelling to Sukhumvit Road. -
Visa Agents in Pattaya.
NONG CHOK replied to NONG CHOK's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If that's the case I'll be sticking to my current visa agent where I pay 14,000 baht and 200 baht for every 90 days report. -

Thanks for your reply Tim, do I need to show proof of residence or is my current address on the Immigration offices data base ok. -
Hi there, has anyone ever used Maneerat Travel in Soi 13/2 to make a one year visa extension. It's been suggested that the annual fee is 12,500 baht. I have a Bangkok Bank account, so what other requirements are there? I'm about to change agents, so how long should I apply before my current visa extension expires. Thanks.
-
That may have been for me as I've been a resident for the past 20 years, no single entry etc. Most certainly visit Maneerat in Soi Post Office.

Hi there, it maybe to late for him to renew his visa extension at Maneerat, I made enquiries there a few months ago and I was told I needed to apply 3 months before my current extension expires. I've used Cambodian Travel in Soi Buakhow for several years now and so far no complaints. Cheers.

Hi all, with the Aussie football upon us again, does anyone know a proven way to watch both the AFL and NRL without any hiccups. Thanks.

Which DLT to go for the driver’s license?
NONG CHOK replied to Naiyana's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Hi all, My registered address is the condo I own in Pattaya. That said I spend most of my time in my house in Bangkok. I'd much prefer to renew my drivers license at the local DLT office which is rarely crowded unlike Pattaya. So can I renew my next license near my main home or put up with the ferals in Pattaya. Thanks. -
What VPN provider do you use and why do you like it?
NONG CHOK replied to CALSinCM's topic in IT and Computers
I was casually browsing one day and came across FAST VPN. It works terrific and only costs US $10-12 per year. -
Getting away from a crowd makes it a lot easier.

I've never had any problems using Bolt in Pattaya but I've learn't one thing. That is never call a Bolt taxi in a crowded area. Because as they're unmarked, you can't see them and how do they know who ordered their cab. So just walk around any corner to an area where it's no parking or the people are scattered and you will be picked up promptly.
