The Y on the part number = yellow. That would be why you are not happy with the intensity/brightness.

Was thinking more Ipswich to be honest. Visited friends in Logan back in 2019, did not see a lot of what you mentioned. But certainly not found in every town/suburb either city or rural as indicated.
