    Land currently owned by Thai company. My PR application will submit this year... then apply for citizenship....House build will start once I can move from company to my name.

    I see in my future a nice house on 5 rai with a pool and large workshop for me to play with my cars.

    Long hours is normal. Am too you to retire. I enjoy working. 700k might be the benchmark you to retire but it falls way short for me, in saying that rental income I collect from properties owned in my home country surpases my monthly income from working in Thailand.

    A lot of that goes towards car and bike maintainance. When its on I'll get out on the Saturday night for some roll racing on the M7.

    work 12 hrs a day... with a 1hr commute tacked onto either side of the day.

    Mon to Fri... no free time. Sat/sun, If the weather is pleasant mostly just laze by the pool slowly getting pissed.... usually throw some bangers on the BBQ for brunch.,They go great with some caramelized onion on a freshly baked bap.

    The OP mops the floors in a pubic hospital, comes to Pattaya for a couple of weeks once a year renting a shoe box size room and likes to complain.... A lot. He has not acheived great succes.
