  1. Yes copies of every page PP signed.
  2. Have you tried making a 2nd copy of the docs on the ext drive, then cut and paste them back to your laptop? Also rather than select and copy a big bunch of files can you copy and paste a single doc back to your laptop?
  3. I go to Korat Imm. I need to renew my Non-O Retirement Extension next month. I dropped by Korat Imm a couple weeks ago to see what is needed (if any changes from last year) they gave me the forms to fill in. Obviously need PP photos, From my bank the balance statement, also a letter from the bank stating how long my 800K has been in the bank (in my case a year as I just keep that money in that account for imm) also have to update bankbook and copy the page. Plus - this wasn't required last year - a copy of landlords ID card and housebook. As I'm registered at my TGF's house that's no problem for me. And the fee, which remains at 1900 Bt. Anyway, I guess UT will be the same, you can always drop by and ask them. Hope this info is useful to you.
  4. If you go to Tuk Com it will cost you money. If you give some details here about what the problem is you're experiencing, then perhaps some of us have had the same issue and found a solution, and perhaps you can sort out the problem for free... up to you, as the Thais say.
  5. If the law dates from 1971 then it wasn't enforced. I got to Thailand in 1978 and there were no such restrictions. But during Takky's time as PM the law was brought into effect to prevent school kids for getting alcohol. And it remains enforced in 7-11s, superstores, certainly not in hotels, bars, M&P shops.
  6. That was the reason given when the law was introduced. Also 7-11s within a certain distance to schools, not allowed to stock/sell alcohol. How long have you been in Thailand? All this was common knowledge at the time.
  7. Most ridiculous law, brought in during Takky's time to stop school children from buying booze. Just scrap the whole stupid law, and make it illegal to sell alcohol products to under age kids?
  8. OP: you sure you really want to change from being on a retirement ext to a married ext? I've been on both in the past and the retirement ext is a breeze compared to the married ext. The only advantage of marry ext is the 400K Vs 800K in the bank, but with a marry ext. you have to involve your wife, have to show maps & photos and Imm will check on you and go around asking your neighbors about you. And personally I don't think it's a good idea to have one's Thai wife in control of your visa/permission to stay.
  9. I hear people talking about getting the international covid certificate from their Mor Phrom app. Is this what they mean, you d/l and print out this, and this satisfies the requirements for travel to Australia and elsewhere? Or is there another certificate that's required. I notice this particular certificate from my Mor Phrom app isn't signed by anyone nor has it been stamped. So is this it or is there another I'll need for travel? Also since getting vaccinated I now have a new passport with a different passport number. How do I get my new PP number updated?
