Thais frequently feed stray cats and dogs. The soi dogs (strays) are usually well fed and in good condition. The same is true for stray cats. My condo guards adopted a cat out of a litter from nearby. caption: A man feeds stray dogs in vacant lot opposite Central Festival Mall in Pattaya.

TEL AVIV — A senior Israeli official on Wednesday called for the state to “erase” the Palestinian town of Hawara, which was rampaged by Jewish settlers over the weekend. “I think the village of Hawara needs to be erased. I think that the state of Israel needs to do it. God forbid that regular people should do it,” Israel Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said. His comments came after he liked a tweet that called for Hawara to be “wiped out” in the wake of a Palestinian gunman's attack that killed two brothers, Hillel Menachem Yaniv, 21, and Yagel Yaakov Yaniv, 19, who lived in the Israeli settlement of Har Bracha, around 5 miles away. https://www.yahoo.com/news/israel-erase-palestinian-village-minister-214510381.html

Has Rupert Murdoch already set up a fall guy for Dominion debacle? Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch's testimony in Dominion Voting Systems' civil lawsuit revealed that the right-wing media mogul believed that many of his network's own hosts went off the rails with false election conspiracy theories. CNN media reporter Oliver Darcy speculates that Murdoch may have used his testimony to essentially set up Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott to take the fall should Fox lose its case against Dominion. Darcy notes that "astute media observers know that Murdoch is the person actually calling the shots" but he adds that "it’s not hard to see how the company could advance this narrative." https://www.rawstory.com/rupert-murdoch-dominion/

Are you being deliberately obtuse? You do know that the Special Counsel Jack Smith is investigating Trump, right? He recently subpoenaed Ivanka Trump which is a sign that indictments are coming soon. -
Why Thailand has attracted more foreign tourists than Vietnam
ozimoron replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Their mother language is Thai of course but I believe they also speak their ancestral dialect if their parents still speak it. Not many would hail from Mandarin speaking areas of China, most tend to be Hokkien or Cantonese, as they are in Malaysia and Singapore. It's only different in Singapore because they made it there official language but they do learn their ancestral language there in school as well under an optional program. No such thing exists in Thailand afaik. -
His wife is a US citizen, why shouldn't they reside there. Who said it' permanent? They are young. Harry remains a UK citizen and they could return to live in the UK at anytime. That's not a good argument.

Does fact checking matter to your opinions?
ozimoron replied to ozimoron's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
If it was there then the folks responsible for producing it wouldn't be so reluctant to do so, paint me skeptical. The far right conspiracy theorist delusion is that those who adhere to science based evidence aren't doing any research or aren't thinking about what they see is a joke. That's the only way they can rationalize their fairly tales. It's a constant refrain I see from those who promote pseudo science. The reality is that the least educated think they are the only smart ones. -
OK, mother then.

He nevertheless must control them. Here he is disowning his own son for marrying a black woman, disrespecting his late wife's dying wishes and rewarding his other son for really unacceptable behaviour. Somehow he wants our respect? Not a chance from me. The queen had my respect but this racist piece of detritus doesn't. And it appears that I'm not alone.

Regardless of what you'd like it to be, Thai culture does not embrace the selling of uncertified and dangerous liquor. Their actions in banning it should be sufficient evidence for you that's true. I'm very sure I have travelled and lived in Thailand much longer than you and understand their culture much more than you do. I have been married to a Thai and speak and read the language.

Russia's threats to use nuclear weapons in the Ukraine war are part of an "information operation" and "extraordinarily unlikely" to come to fruition, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). A report published by the U.S.-based think tank on Tuesday cited testimony from U.S. Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl, who said he did not think Russia using nuclear weapons was "likely" during a House Armed Services Committee hearing earlier in the day. ISW said Kahl's testimony was in line with its own "continued assessment that Russia is extraordinarily unlikely to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine." https://www.newsweek.com/russian-nuclear-threats-are-empty-part-information-operation-isw-1784543
