  1. What crime has he been convicted of that makes her "the wife of a crook"?
  2. Police checks, if they do them, would show that she had no criminal convictions so what would be the issue?
  3. Go on to the app and you'll see how to do it but I seem to recall that my passport was the only document required, it was several months ago that I registered.
  4. If you say so. Maybe they have a special arrangement with Wise but, apart from that if it is true, 7-11s in Thailand do not accept physical bank debit cards for payment.
  5. Wrong country, maybe? It didn't claim that it was Thailand but it did state that it was a file photo so no reason for anyone to assume that it was.
  6. Actual debit cards, which is what I was referring to (as opposed to digital alternatives such as Apple Pay) are not accepted in 7-11s.
  7. Why did you only quote the 1st paragraph of my post? I went on to say, in the same post: Because that was the sentence that I was responding to.
  8. Yes, and yes/yes. There's a bit of registering to do though, but if I can do it unassisted, anyone can.
  9. Revolut is great. Since when has 7-11 accepted payment through a Revolut debit card when 7-11s do not accept debit cards?
  10. I think it's fine as long as you have evidence of Long-Term Visa or Work Permit. Visas are not checked for foreigners registering with TrueMoney, neither is a work permit a requirement!
  11. That is my choice! I will not use a "No Cash" outlet! 7-11s do accept cash!
  12. Why would anyone go shopping at a 7-11 if they had no cash or other means to pay?
  13. Cannot agree with that, at all. Those who live here, presumably, have a local bank account that can top-up TrueMoney, those who do not, probably do not have a TrueMoney app. What else is making purchases from 7-11 "more and more difficult"?
  14. Why should he say something so ridiculous? How could that possibly affect the situation?
  15. It says he paid it. Yes, it says that he paid it (to the driver, obviously), it does not say that the driver accepted B100 as enough for the, apparently agreed, fare of B400.
  16. OK, the next to last sentence. Or last paragraph. Nothing in the entire article states that his son (the driver) "had done anything like this in the past"...unless you can quote it from the OP.
  17. My computer appears to be almost identical to that picture.
