  1. And you think that those people will be at all concerned about the tiny frozen state pension!?
  2. No, we cannot. It has been tried and debated for donkeys years, has always been rejected and will continue to be so regardless of the handful of expats here in Thailand who join in (assuming that they have not previously added their names to the numerous existing petitions that have no effect, whatsoever, regardless of which government is in power).
  3. He's not referring to those who are non-UK residents (i.e. all those on this forum who have complained) who do not comply with the UK banks' residency legal requirements that are necessary, but not always strictly enforced, to have a UK bank account.
  4. Sired by dogs already here that were imported before the bans were implemented, probably.
  5. Per transaction. The daily withdrawal limits are those set by your yourself/your own bank, not the ATM that your using, and can be altered in the app settings.
  6. Good to see you supporting a regime that launches cruise missiles at innocent women and children and causes massive environmental damage at the behest of its tin pot dictator. Glad most of the good people of Liverpool don’t share your view Where did I say that I support the Russian regime? You need to back up that remark. My comment was about your irrational vent against one Russian man who has opened a restaurant in Thailand, a person of whom you know nothing and, as far as any of us know, has done nothing to further the cause of Russian attacks on Ukraine. What have the "good people of Liverpool" got to do with it and how could you ever know that they wouldn't share my view of your nonsensical attack on that restaurant owner?
  7. "...and the left is going to save the world by reducing the amount of CO2 we generate by a few percentage points..." For that read, "reducing the amount of CO₂ by bu99er-all points!
  8. Prove the math. He doesn't have to prove it, you're the one who made the "100%" claim initially so you're the one who should prove it.
  9. That phrase was abandoned a long time ago! I do agree with the rest of your comment, though.
  10. "My neighbor’s brother died last week of heat stroke..." "I’ll find out more ...whether he had preexisting conditions, what the death certificate said" So you don't have any idea whether he died from heatstroke, then!
  11. A lot of the time it's not only spades that you call spades.
  12. You think any of them will take any notice of your irrational rant?! Unless you know something about the owner, of course.
  13. Agreed, but I think only US Carriers have them? I might be wrong? Several airlines/countries have them, many don't comment whether they do or do not, so it's safe bet that there are many.
  14. "They are not time tested". By definition, they are time tested! Is it your opinion that twelve years of production is not enough to establish whether they "hold up"?
  15. https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-66117178 Parts not exclusive to China. That's what i have been saying, they are not 100% made in China. I don't see the point of that link that, as far as components are concerned, only relates to the first (Chinese) MG assembled at Longbridge, the MG6, twelve years ago in 2011.
  16. That's a very ridiculous comment. A 19 year old girl died because of that <deleted> driver! Read it in the context of the comment to which I was responding!
  17. Exactly, it doesn't state that it's a Samsung anywhere in the listing!
  18. What can Lazada do about that. They're clearly advertising a "Sansumg", not a Samsung, how does anyone know that it's a fake Sansumg?
  19. ...inadvertently and it was money that would be refunded. You, conveniently, forgot to mention that.
  20. What it actually states is that half of the lease term be expired before that right can be exercised. It applies only to "residential property leasing businesses, i.e businesses that lease five or more properties to individual lessees for residential purposes".
