  1. Nonsense, the pathologist has nothing to do with what happens to the body of a foreigner after the postmortem if it is being repatriated.
  2. He was doing neither, he was in his hotel room.
  3. What is "not real" about Thai pathologists?
  4. As 21 year old healthy young people with no previous conditions often do. It is not unknown for young people to die and you are assuming that he was healthy with no undiagnosed conditions. How do you know that he had "no previous conditions"?
  5. Just tried to register but they claim that the IPC's UK phone number is not valid! Didn't bother going further than that.
  6. 6 - 8 Baht with MY TELLO Good idea but most people aren't registered for that while all of us have a mobile phone number. They also claim that the IPC's UK phone number is invalid, so not much use.
  7. Thanks for that, they must have changed their rules. EDIT: Just tried and Kasikorn linking works, thanks. BBL, SCB and KTB options all produce the "Cannot connect to bank account. Connecting bank accounts is available for Thai citizens only" message. Interesting that Kasikorn is the only mainstream bank that does not require (or even provide for) facial recognition for foreigners accounts.
  8. According to reports, the incident happened in Silom area early Saturday morning when a group of three men and a woman hailed the taxi and asked the driver to take them to Thong Lor area. When the driver refused to go because of traffic congestion, one of the passengers reportedly slammed the passenger door to express frustration. The angered driver then jumped out of his cab and an argument ensued. The taxi driver drew a fruit knife and slashed the face of the man who slammed the door. I know, hence my post.
  9. The passengers were Thais and one of then forcibly slammed the taxi door when refused a ride.
  10. Many Bangkok taxis do have cameras.
  11. The passenger slammed the car door in response to the driver's refusal to serve his group.
  12. No. The passenger slammed the car door in response to the driver's refusal to serve his group.
  13. Conditions that the drivers voluntarily accept, no one forces the job, or conditions, on them.
  14. Many Grab vehicles are taxis. This type of incident generally does not happen because the destination and fare is agreed in advance and it will always be more than a normal taxi fare.
  15. No foreign tourists involved in this, very isolated, unjustified incident that was provoked by the passenger.
  16. From the OP... "The Bangkok Post reported that the attack left a wound more than 10 centimetres long on the face. The injured man told reporters that the gash required 32 stitches". Do you think that he did the 32 stitches himself?
  17. That's not true, either. I didn't have to show anything except that required to open the wallet. Topping up from a Thai bank app is a standard facility. What are you asserting has to be produced in addition to normal wallet-opening procedures?
  18. You're assuming, not presuming. Where was alcohol, never mind drunkenness, mentioned in the article?
  19. ...the GFM is asking for money "to support the family" also!
  20. I was asking that question . What details have they given . I was asking a question, also. What details have they given?
