  1. Nope, I just know how they operate. Everyone thinks they're covered for everything when in reality they have exclusions and exception to many things. "Nope, I just know how they operate". Obviously, you do not. "...in reality they have exclusions..." Of course, they do, and they are all laid out in the policy documents that the insurer supplies to the insured to read.
  2. Just goes to show how utterly ignorant some people are about Thai medical personnels' expertise.
  3. Why would that be the case? It's safe to assume that he has read his policy and know what cover he has and that it is not travel insurance.
  4. Only as long as an airline accepts the patient (not all do) but the changes it mat have to make to accommodate him and the medical escorts gets expensive.
  5. Presumably that's due to the expertise of the surgeon or the site of the operation not being visible from the photo.
  6. No, it hasn't, not yet but, even if it is put into force, it has not been stated to be insurance coverage to repatriate foreign ICU patients.
  7. No, that's not what I said about this accident. Read my comment again for a full understanding of what I actually, very clearly, posted.
  8. Insurers are, in fact, in the business of paying out as the industry's statistics for legitimate claims prove. Over 80% of travel insurance claims are paid by insurers. They are not, of course, in the business of charitable payments for policy holders who void their own policies and then cry about it with the support of those who do not know what they are talking about.
  9. Just because it is not publicly shown on the Interpol website doesn't mean that it has "disappeared", there are thousands that are not made available to the public...they don't all need to be.
  10. Where did I mention Thailand. You didn't need to, she was in Thailand, sent here by her family, so where else would she be getting married by arrangement?
  11. Doesn't matter if he is found, RTP can't do anything if he's not found in Thailand.
  12. How do catfish get "pumped full of chemicals" and what chemicals are they?
  13. "I said, what if I'm out of the country?" Why did you say that? If you were out of the country and they could send you a statement to your registered address, how would you get it, not being in the country?
  14. Hmm? Can you read? That photo was taken a few weeks after the accident, according to the accompanying caption.
  15. His injuries sort of indicate that the chances of his wearing a properly fastened helmet are probably zero.
  16. "Insurance Companies are the biggest legalised Scam on our planet". Really?... https://www.unbiased.co.uk/news/financial-adviser/5-startling-facts-about-insurance-payouts#:~:text=So how much do insurers, policies were accepted last year. "Travel insurers paid over £1,042 per claim in 2019/20 and the claims acceptance rate fell to 83%". https://www.abi.org.uk/data/
  17. Saying "idiots club" is going too far. Millions of people ride motorbike every day in Thailand. What happened to him could be a legit accident Doesn't matter if it was a "legit accident" (whatever that is) or an non-legit accident, if he wasn't wearing a helmet he's still a member of the idiots club by definition.
