  1. It's about a member with a passport full of Thailand entry stamps who was again stamped into the country with no issues whatsoever!
  2. Actually, it can depend on the whim of the IO sticking to the regulations, they are authorised to determine who is allowed in.
  3. Why would anyone even consider that if they're going by the rules and not trying to play the system?
  4. But all your details, name, DoB, fingerprints, photo, entries etc will still be in the computer. Shhhh..let it be a surprise for him!
  5. The IO will be looking at all your previous entries on her screen, new passport doesn't mean anything.
  6. Funnily enough, what makes you think that she would ignore the record of frequent entries that she'd be looking at on her screen?
  7. Really? How many were in that large number of denied entries that you claim?
  8. Yes, they still have their job to do...just the same as the IOs in your country.
  9. She was doing her job, nothing more. He went to her desk, she asked a couple of very reasonable IO questions and then she stamped him in.
  10. "...knocked back by Royal Thai Immigration for "coming too many times"". Really? How many times is that, then; what are your stats?
  11. No, it isn't, it's their job to see who is coming into the country.
  12. So, which of the two, mechanics or gambits? I don't see anything wrong with the IO behaviour. You had about 30 entries in 7-8 years, that IS a lot and she was right. Do get a visa, or be prepared for some obvious questions, including whether you have a relationship in Thailand. "... be prepared for some obvious questions, including whether you have a relationship in Thailand". ...or whether he is working here.
  13. The IO was just doing the job she is paid to do. This forum is full of foreigners complaining that the RTP (IOs) do not do their job properly yet when they do they get pilloried for it!
  14. "Interesting Immigration attitude at Swampy today". That IO's "attitude" was her doing her job, the result of which was your being stamped in with no issues. What was so "interesting" about that?
  15. One assumes that the folks who typed onto a keyboard informing of their contributions are real people, not bots. While someone posting the total received thus far tells you nothing of who those donors are. One assumes that comments from anonymous posters don't tell you anything at all about the poster or the veracity of their posts and they certainly don't tell you who the alleged donors are!
  16. So the police (anywhere, not just Thailand) should never be complimented for successful cases?
  17. I don't draw the line, so long as they fit into society normally they should be allowed to work where suitable. Obviously the ones on WS and the likes are another kettle of fish. What's your opinion of them? Doesn't my response that you quoted there give you a clue?! I won't expand on that because I don't want a holiday but I'm happy to say that I don't know anything about WS trannies specifically.
  18. What? He wants his vision checked, not some beer and snacks.
  19. Which "real people", rather than anonymous donors, did you see making contributions and where?
  20. He did. Thaivisa is online and he was asking.
