  1. The police said nothing about that, the Asean Now writer did that all by himself.
  2. If you bothered to read the article you'd know that the police didn't comment on that, it was Asean Now, in their wisdom, that "noted" it. "ASEAN NOW notes that this can be seen in the light of the gesture being connected with anti-government protests".
  3. If it was your business what would you prefer; an employee going on a bank run or remaining at their post serving your customers? Doesn't matter what I'd, hypothetically, prefer, what's that got to do with the fact that there are plenty of bank branches all over Thailand?
  4. It's like a death sentence. What? How does it "tear the body down"? Was your incarceration in a Thai prison "like a death sentence"?
  5. Oh, yes, banks are such a rare sight these days, there hardly ever seen. Jesus Christ...
  6. Private businesses do not have to accept cash, if that's their policy, regardless of it's being legal tender.
  7. Cremating the body without informing the authorities or with no death certificate is going to create problems for her.
  8. The police should be informed about the death of a foreigner, they will inform the Embassy. If he died at home, not in a hospital, she should not just have him cremated without informing the authorities. If he died in a hospital, or he was moved to one, the hospital will provide the death certificate.
  9. Who the duckin hell is this "Bryan" you keep referring to?
  10. Excuse them for doing their 'kin job. Jesus...
  11. First, I must give you a medal for your very hard try to protect this drunken foreigner! No thanks, don't need a medal from you. He was "thought to be intoxicated", that doesn't make him a drunken driver yet, nor does it automatically make him responsible for this accident until (a) it's confirmed that he was over the limit and (b) it's confirmed that he was responsible. Even if he is found to be over the limit that does not necessarily mean that he caused the accident involving the bike with four people on it.
  12. Oh, dear. I suspect you're calling me a "C U next Tuesday". Not a good move.
  13. She was lucky. You do know that they did not "get her a new car", they let her buy a new car with the finance installments starting at the 17th month, right?
  14. No, the fact is that the car in "identical condition" that has not been repaired is worth more than the one that has. That was my point, they would not be identical cars because one had been repaired!
  15. "...will tear her body down". Huh? What does that mean? Have you ever been in a Thai prison?
  16. Massive Electricity bills from September Where have "massive electricity bills" been announced?
