  1. How do you expect the forum to exist without ads as we pay nothing? You think that the owners just lay out their cash for you out of the goodness of their hearts?
  2. You know that discussing how to block advertisers contravenes the forum rules?...you know that forum that you pay nothing for that gives you free entertainment and information.
  3. Depends on what the negative views are. ...and where the negative reviews come from; strangely enough, there are some people who love to have a dig at MG, just because it's Chinese.
  4. It's not her that's the fool, she did not "go to a message board to find sympathy", she was involved in a phone-in to a British television programme, she did not put her issue on Asean Now. To use your own words, "there are so many stupid people in the world and you are towards the top of the list".
  5. Who said that she was on Legal Aid? The lawyers could be acting pro bono. Edit: Apparently she is (was) getting Legal Aid, granted by the Ministry of Justice.
  6. They can take their currency out but they can also take out USD. No limit on importing currency to Thailand. Currency exchangers can send foreign currency to BoT which transacts with other countries' central banks.

  8. Well that's a helpful remark. Well, yours wasn't a helpful remark either but at least his remark was factual.
  9. That's great, good to read. What is really odd, though, is that normally this type of report about an honest Bangkok taxi driver and hotel employee would be net with derision and contempt by Thaivisa members as being fabricated and unbelievable and purely intended to balance out less positive reports. I wonder what's so different this time?
  10. It is here with an absurd price tag to match That's what makes it a "luxury" car, the price here.
  11. Obviously, you do not know much about how Thailand classifies vehicles, "luxury" in Thai automotive terms indicates expensive, not luxurious.
  12. Exactly, an anonymous "caller" with an unlikely and unrealistic situation. Well done, This Morning, and the Daily Mail, on doing a "Thaivisa-poster"...making up the entire thing for views.
  13. Why should she be left destitute when she clearly must have her own money as the money he has been reported as using is his?
  14. So what did your friend do about it? He just accepted the situation?
  15. Does a typo sound right? "Thai Rath reported on several developments yesterday evening in the case of the disappearance of the eight month old infant boy called "Nong Tor".
  16. We cannot rely, of course, on a Thaivisa poster being given/relaying a complete rundown of the police evidence-gathering and the police may have just told the journalist that they're checking CCTV because they were, in fact, going into everything.
  17. You're not seriously suggesting that Australia never suffers from sh!te washed up on it's beaches?
  18. Cars manufactured in Thailand meet all current international safety requirements.
  19. So what exactly is wrong in that area besides idiot drivers? That there was a fatal accident blocking the road is what was "exactly wrong" in that area at the time of the advisory.
