  1. Look at the OP's username. How does that explain the title of the thread?
  2. Don't go to the original branch to ask for the account to be transferred and risk issues there, go to the branch that has been assisting you and open a new account then take your funds out of the old account.
  3. As I clearly explained in my post these are not beaten-up, dirty, scrawled-on notes. They are crisp, recent series, almost pristine notes with tiny pen marks on them. I have experienced problems exchanging them at several places, including my own bank "They just want clean, unmarked notes" is what I wrote and that has been confirmed by your own experience. You confirmed that the notes you have been unable to exchange have been written on (pen marks).
  4. Stop being sensible, it's against the forum rules, I think.
  5. Woe indeed, with visitor numbers increasing, how bad is that?
  6. Oh, come on, you're being rational and realistic, that's not going to go down well here!
  7. What are you talking about? As it has always been, if you meet the requirements your application will not be rejected.
  8. What are those "monthly Immigration formalities" that you suggest are in place?
  9. You're welcome to go elsewhere (even though, ironically, you're coming here) but, you're right, no one will care if you don't, not even Thais.
  10. Since the end of Covid the number of visitors to Thailand is increasing, why would TAT want to reverse that trend?
  11. Which new costs, specifically, are now being charged to visitors that forces them "to pay almost anything" to enter?
  12. Where has that been stated by Thai authorities? It's ok, got it, nowhere.
  13. The people who want to come to Thailand will, but, which "hoops"?
  14. Huh? What could be easier than visa exempt entry?
  15. Cheapskates have not been excluded, they're still welcome here also.
  16. That is what aquaplaning is, loss of contact with the road surface due to the wheels riding on a layer of water. It does not matter how many wheels are driven if they're not in contact with the road, and an aquaplaning wheel doesn't have that contact. I am aware that 4WD or AWD can be advantageous before the wheel loses contact with the road. I'm also aware that is usually momentary and not like a long boat cruise. I do know the advantage of 4WD having experience of an Audi S2, S6, Evo 4, STI, Discovery, Range Rover, Sport Rider and Fortuner.
  17. Good guess! There are pictures showing an, obviously, not young man and the OP states... "Relatives had contacted the embassy saying that Mr Park suffered from mental health problems".
  18. Aquaplaning wheels are not in contact with the road and at that stage, whether the wheels are driven or not, it does not make any difference. I do know that 4WD can be an advantage in wet conditions when the wheels are still in contact with the road, i.e before the wheels start floating.
  19. That is a fact not an opinion Yes, I know that what I wrote is fact and that you're entitled to your opinion.
  20. The airline is responsible for the meals and the quality That's your opinion. The supplier is actually responsible for the meals and the quality. The airline doesn't specify reptiles to be included in the meals.
  21. No, that's just nonsense. Where did you get that information from? That was rhetorical. Obviously, you didn't get that information anywhere. Dusit Zoo was not reported to have been mismanaged and did not close for that reason. It closed as part of the long-planned move to relocate to a much larger area, gifted by the King.
  22. Why? Because the airline does not prepare the meals that are served, that is contracted out.
