Trump is a jerk. But he insists he never met her and never raped her. -

I have misrepresented nothing. The plaintiff said she cannot give a date that she was raped by Trump. The jury verdict is in. An appeal can deal with a judge's decisions as to which evidence was allowed or disallowed for a jury to come to its decision. Carroll's response to the appeal is due some time March. -

The jury verdict is under appeal. I do not support Donald J. Trump. I support the notion that no one -- whether in a criminal or civil case -- should have to deal with: She: You raped me. He: When did I rape you? She: I don't know. https://www.aclu.org/wp-content/uploads/legal-documents/4156_ri_1978.pdf -
Exactly, another poster said he experienced that didn't happen. Conveniently ignored by all claiming 'bank will not release funds'. I will revise my prior posts: When an expat who has a 'in his name only' 800,000 baht account for immigration purposes in Thailand, a wife or other person should drain the account before the bank (if ever) finds out and freezes the account. NB I do not have any bank account in Thailand including the one with 65K+ per month deposit where the balance does not get close to zero by the end off the month. So nothing to drain upon my eventual demise.

I think Ms. Habba is there because she reminds her client, Mr. Trump, of his mentor, Roy Cohn. -

But apparently not Ms. Carroll herself May 11, 2023: Ms. Carroll, in the interview, blamed herself for their decision to find Mr. Trump liable for sexually abusing her but not for rape. “I didn’t make myself clear when I was testifying,” Ms. Carroll said. Under New York law, according to Ms. Carroll’s lawyer, Ms. Kaplan, penetration by the penis must occur for there to be a rape. Ms. Carroll had testified that after Mr. Trump led her into the Bergdorf’s lingerie department and into a dressing room, he shoved her against a wall and inserted his fingers and then his penis into her vagina. “I couldn’t see anything that was happening,” Ms. Carroll had told the jury. “But I could certainly feel it. I could certainly feel that pain in the finger jamming up.” In the interview Thursday, Ms. Carroll noted that she had twice been married, and she said, “I know what a penis feels like, and he did insert his penis.” https://www.nytimes.com/2023/05/11/nyregion/e-jean-carroll-trump-defamation.html -

https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/23/23-719/295040/20240105135754430_23-719 Anderson Respondents Resp.pdf Petition GRANTED. The case is set for oral argument on Thursday, February 8, 2024. January 4, 2024 QUESTIONS PRESENTED Petitioner Donald J. Trump offers a single question presented, which wrongly conflates at least seven discrete legal and factual issues in his Petition. Properly framed, the questions presented are: 1. Whether a challenge to the constitutional qualifications of a candidate for President presents a non-justiciable political question? 2. Whether the Presidency and the President fall within the list of offices and officers to which Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment applies? 3. Whether states may exclude from the ballot candidates who are ineligible to hold office under Section 3? 4. Whether Congress must first pass legislation under Section 5 of the Fourteenth Amendment before a state can enforce Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, even if state law provides a cause of action to enforce it? 5. Whether, by intentionally mobilizing, inciting, and encouraging the violent attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, Trump “engaged in insurrection” against the Constitution for purposes of Section 3? 6. Whether the state trial court’s factual finding that Trump intentionally incited a violent insurrection on January 6, 2021, was clearly erroneous? 7. Whether the Electors Clause requires this Court to override the Colorado Supreme Court’s interpretation of the Colorado Election Code? -
So if Judge Kaplan said in the above link that 'rape' is any forcible penetration, why did the Carroll team have to make 70+ amendments to their original complaint from "rape" to "sexual assault"? Judge clarifies: Yes, Trump was found to have raped E. Jean Carroll https://archive.md/dwhsS#selection-705.1-711.129
