I am just relaying MY experience not telling others what to do. I made one of the classic mistakes in 2005 when I had a multiple-entry B visa good through AUG 01 and my current stay was AUG 03. I crossed the border at the bridge Nong Khai AUG 02 thinking I had one more day and they voided my Multi entry visa and gave me 30 days instead of the 90 days I was expecting and on which I had made plans From that day on, I do nothing within my control regarding Immigration and extension of stay that can cause a problem and -- while some I guess have no problems -- using WISE to me is just waiting for a problem.

Ron DeSantis allies press for a campaign shake-up There’s particular scrutiny around campaign manager Generra Peck and whether she’ll hang on to her position. July 19, 2023, 7:40 AM +07 TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The long knives are out for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ campaign manager amid a cash crunch and flagging poll numbers. Generra Peck, DeSantis’ top aide, is “hanging by a thread,” said a DeSantis donor who is close to the campaign. Some allies communicated themselves or through proxies that they want DeSantis to fire Peck or “layer” her — a less public demotion in which she would have to report to a new boss — according to two more DeSantis allies familiar with discussions around the campaign’s struggles. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/ron-desantis-allies-press-campaign-shake-rcna95028

More Americans say Supreme Court is too conservative

Kavanaugh Gave Private Assurances. Collins Says He ‘Misled’ Her. “I am a don’t-rock-the-boat kind of judge,” the justice told the senator in a discussion on Roe, according to notes from a meeting before his confirmation. June 24, 2022 “I feel misled,” Ms. Collins said in an interview, adding that the decision was in stark contrast to the assurances she had received privately from Justice Kavanaugh, who had made similar, if less exhaustive, pronouncements at his public hearing. Mr. Manchin, the only Democrat to vote for Justice Kavanaugh, also expressed similar sentiments about Justice Neil M. Gorsuch, who made his own strong statements about adhering to precedent during his confirmation in 2017. “I trusted Justice Gorsuch and Justice Kavanaugh when they testified under oath that they also believed Roe v. Wade was settled legal precedent and I am alarmed they chose to reject the stability the ruling has provided for two generations of Americans,” said Mr. Manchin, who himself is anti-abortion. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/24/us/roe-kavanaugh-collins-notes.html https://archive.is/u0ztV -
From the Guardian link above: The specific evidence was not clear, though the charge regarding influencing witnesses could include Trump’s conversations with Georgia’s secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, in which he asked Raffensperger to “find” 11,780 votes, the people said – and thereby implicate Trump. *** However maybe the more incriminating part of the coversation just precedes the 11,780 vote request: And you are going to find that they are — which is totally illegal, it is more illegal for you than it is for them because, you know what they did and you’re not reporting it. That’s a criminal, that’s a criminal offense. And you can’t let that happen. That’s a big risk to you and to Ryan, your lawyer. ... You know, I mean, I’m notifying you that you’re letting it happen. So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state. https://edition.cnn.com/2021/01/03/politics/trump-brad-raffensperger-phone-call-transcript/index.html

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Flipping on Donald Trump: Michael Cohen BY NICK MORDOWANEC ON 7/14/23 AT 4:55 PM EDT Michael Cohen, former attorney and so-called "fixer" for Donald Trump, believes Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump are turning against the former president as more witnesses offer insight into his role during the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot. (Cohen) also referred to them as "inside moles," adding that he has no information to prove it. "Jared does not want to see the inside of a prison cell," Cohen said. "He knows what it's like through his father's eyes, he knows how difficult it was for him and his siblings. He doesn't want to do the same thing to his children." https://www.newsweek.com/jared-kushner-ivanka-flipping-donald-trump-michael-cohen-1813107

Prosecutors Ask Witnesses Whether Trump Acknowledged He Lost 2020 Race Jared Kushner was questioned before a federal grand jury as prosecutors appeared to be trying to establish if the former president knew his efforts to stay in power were built on a lie. By Michael S. Schmidt and Maggie Haberman July 13, 2023, 4:33 p.m. ET Federal prosecutors investigating former President Donald J. Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election have questioned multiple witnesses in recent weeks — including Mr. Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner — about whether Mr. Trump had privately acknowledged in the days after the 2020 election that he had lost, according to four people briefed on the matter. The line of questioning suggests prosecutors are trying to establish whether Mr. Trump was acting with corrupt intent as he sought to remain in power — essentially that his efforts were knowingly based on a lie — evidence that could substantially bolster any case they might decide to bring against him. Mr. Kushner testified before a grand jury at the federal courthouse in Washington last month, where he is said to have maintained that it was his impression that Mr. Trump truly believed the election was stolen, according to a person briefed on the matter. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/13/us/politics/kushner-grand-jury-trump.html https://archive.is/PMIXQ#selection-351.0-545.256

Opinion Trying Trump under the Espionage Act will be trickier than you think By Baruch Weiss June 21, 2023 at 7:15 a.m. EDT Baruch Weiss, a former federal prosecutor in the U.S. attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York, is a partner at Arnold & Porter and a criminal defense lawyer who handles Espionage Act cases. The charges in the indictment against Donald Trump might seem simple: Trump finished his term as president, became an ordinary citizen, yet retained 31 classified documents that, under the Espionage Act, he should have returned to the government upon demand. He compounded his wrongdoing by lying and obstructing. But as a former federal prosecutor and a defense attorney who has handled Espionage Act cases, I can tell you that prosecutions under that law are tricky. And Trump’s will be extraordinarily so. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/06/21/trump-prosecution-espionage-act-tricky/ https://archive.is/UJhXJ#selection-409.0-585.194

Sure but that retrial motion had nothing to do with the appeal which will be before a panel of judges and not Judge Kaplan. -

This is the main thing I love about Thailand and it dwarfs any remaining four. From The Shawshank Redemption: Andy: You know what the Mexicans say about the Pacific? Red: No. Andy: They say it has no memory. That’s where I want to live the rest of my life. A warm place with no memory. In Thailand, nobody really knows who I am and about my past life unless I choose to tell them. -
Sure but that adage is usually to work the other way around: "Justice delayed is justice denied" is a legal maxim. It means that if legal redress or equitable relief to an injured party is available, but is not forthcoming in a timely fashion, it is effectively the same as having no remedy at all. Usually applied to when the defendant is hurt by delay -- not when the defendant WANTS delay. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justice_delayed_is_justice_denied

Maybe the most famous return-to-the-gate incident: The nut rage incident, also referred to as nutgate (Korean: 땅콩 회항, Ttangkong hoehang), was an air rage incident that occurred on December 5, 2014, at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City onboard Korean Air Flight 086. Korean Air vice president Heather Cho (Korean name: Cho Hyun-ah), dissatisfied with the way a flight attendant served nuts on the plane, ordered the aircraft to return to the gate before takeoff. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nut_rage_incident

From the original complaint: 36. Trump opened his overcoat and unzipped his pants. Trump then pushed his fingers around Carroll’s genitals and forced his penis inside of her.
